Mitt Romney's campaign is in trouble. With the growing revelations of Romney's involvement in Bain Capital's "pioneering efforts" in outsourcing American jobs, the significant discrepancies between Romney's story and the numerous SEC filings that contradict that story, his adamant insistence on secrecy about his own tax returns, his Cayman Islands and Swiss bank accounts that exist only to evade paying taxes to the very government he seeks to lead, and the glaring disconnect with the average working American that Romney exhibits at every campaign stop, some have already begun to wonder whether Romney will make it to the Republican convention. If in fact the heat gets to be too much for Mitt, who do you think the Republicans will choose in his place? Who will be the sacrificial lamb?

Since we know that Obama and his crew have lied about Bain - why the hell would he step down? The rank gutter politics of Obama is sickening - he should step down.

Romney's campaign is not in trouble. The mainstream media has lied so much that most Americans take reports like this with a grain of salt now.

Bain Capital did invest in companies that outsourced under Romney's watch, according to analysis by FactCheck.org. However the Obama team is absurdly hypocritical for putting Romney on the defense on the issue of outsourcing because the president is a huge fan of General Electric and GE CEO Jefferey Immelt, who chairs Obama's council on Jobs and Competiveness.

Less than half of GE's workforce is employed in the United States. The corporation, which has 277 plants in 43 countries, employs about 300,000 people and only 131,000 are employed in the U.S. GE paid zero in federal income tax in 2010, according to The New York Times, keeping its profits overseas to avoid the IRS.

By the way, GE also received $24.9 million in Stimulus grants. Despite getting all that cash from U.S. taxpayers, GE decreased its U.S.-based employees by 18,000 in 2009, according to the company’s 2009 annual report.

Considering this is another fantasy of the obama Nazi's why would Romney step down?

One thing everyone can be assured of that if Obama and his minions say anything about anyone, they are lying. Proven by not one honest statement spoken by him and his minions since day one. Obam ahas been sending business out of this country for years now. Like all Democrats practice epidemically . Democrats do and then accuse others of doing, what they do. Liars to the core. So everytime Obama accuses someone of something, it is a sure bet it's something Obama always does.

All of these people are either the fringe element of nuttiness or they are corporate moguls who want power to further their own class. Not to worry -- Romney is in to the bitter end. He can taste it.

maybe because they don't want to pay the fee or go through the necessary paperwork? I don't see where his own party is demanding it, but like I said It doesn't matter to me because they (both sides!) are playing a game of tennis; trying to see who can distract the majority of voters with ridiculously unimportant "issues" to avoid answering questions about the IMPORTANT ones.

So this is the new strategy to take the focus off the failing president? Nice try but it won't work, the New York times and the Washington Post both wrote how bogus the accusation was. This will back fire on Obama just like all his other lies. Broken promises don't go to far when people are still out of work and the liberals keep telling lies about how great things are.

why should he step down?? there is no bain scandal and you seem to forget that obama had invested money in businesses that was also outsourced so before he points a finger at bain, he better be looking in his own backyard!!!! he has invested in GE and apple both of which have outsourced jobs.

My best interests lie with my family and my businesses of thirty years. I am an engineer of 35 years and have done extremely well. Obama is the one thing that holds our industry back in America. I don't expect a dishwasher to understand the reality of our dismal handling of the economy but I do question the stupidity of the left followers wondering just where they think the money comes from for their welfare policies.
It amazes me how people like you think that you even have a clue as to what is going on by watching TV and the brain washed media. It takes a little bit more of a high school education to figure out the complexities of our situation. In your case I see a 15 year old argumentative brat that loves the rush of being able to argue points that you have no clue as to what you are talking about. Unfortunately people like you vote based on propaganda and not reality and no I don't watch Fox........TV is an insult to ones mind.

Bachmann graduated with honors with a law degree and has been extremely successful in her career and that is on record. You people have made way too many hateful, disgusting, lying accusations of people you are too lazy or unwilling to research the truth, that just proves how incompetent and ignorant you are.

My choice would be for the Republicans to merge with the true Conservatives who have left the GOP as sell-outs to big capital and formed the Constitution Party true to the conservative principals the GOP claims to have but has abandoned. If they would nominate Virgil Goode, then we could have an honest, decent conservative candidate we could all get behind. Unfortunately, that could never happen at a convention where the majority of delegates have been bought with the money of Romney's machine.

The other candidates who ran earlier are all too conservative for this "moderate" block of delegates except Huntsman. Right now he says he is not even going to the convention. If Romney does withdraw, maybe he will come running back. Like Edward, the Duke of Windsor, sitting in Madrid waiting for his friend Hitler to conquer Britain and make him king, scuttling back to England after the Battle of Britain.

Out of this list, there is only one who is conservative enough to keep the conservatives from bolting to the Constitution Party and yet academic and intellectual enough for the moderate wing to accept, Condoleezza Rice, Stanford University professor and past president of Stanford, she is perfect.

There is someone else I would support who would appeal even more to the Romney delegates, Colin Powell.
