If Romney and his GOP had to abstain from spewing the basic hate message, what would they bring to the table?

Bob, you and your ilk are the haters. You are the ones pushing this insane idea that Republicans are "waging war on women."

You even have the gall to continue lodging this accusation after one of your own leaders basically stuck her middle finger up at stay-at-home moms all over America.

    Have you people no shame?

They have to try and denigrate the president considering what a mess the republicans put this country in before Obama took office. They borrowed money from China to pay for Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy further driving up the deficit while engaged in not one but two unfunded wars.

I think the new-wave of leftist's are so young they'll believe whatever their handlers feed them.
If they actually weren't so lazy, they could search historical archives and get the facts.
I have read and heard many stories right from Premier Obama's own mouth. I was so shocked that I couldn't believe (at first) that the mainstream media wasn't revealing this info.
Realizing that close to 90% of the media identifies itself as Democratic and liberal made things ever so clear.

I believe you stated it very well in your last post.

I noticed to day that the media was saying how out of touch that Romney was for holding $50k a plate fundraiser in NYC.

They didn't say that about Obama when he did it with Sarah Jessica Parker.
But it was only $48k a plate.

I also want to give Props to the BILLIONAIRES, whose MILLIONS in Super Pacs would also help Republicans achieve this taking of Democracy from the People.

Sure thing. Thanks to Our Current administration and Mr. Obama, it is now legal to do that.

So that means the following are just some of the billionaires on the Democrat donor list; Steven Spielberg, George Soros, Charles Ergen, Vance K. Opperman, Daniel Abraham, Warren Buffett, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Robert F.X. Sillerman, George Lucas, Alice Walton, Paul Allen, Sumner Redstone, Bill Gates, William Barron Hilton, Eric Schmidt, William Randolph Hearst III, Marc Benioff, Anthony Pritzker, Ray Milton Dolby, Charles Schwab, Robert Kraft, Gordon P. Getty II, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Ballmer, Ralph Lauren, Jeff Bezos, Henry Samuel

Would you have the Dem side be allowed to take billions, and not the Rep side?

    Shouldn't it be fair?

Democrats; almost all of those companies you named are headed by deomocrats.
    Especially the TV Companies.
Citigroup, the nation's largest banking company, also was among those enmeshed in the sub-prime mortgage debacle, leading to billions of dollars in losses last year and the resignation of its chief executive, Charles Prince.

Merrill Lynch too had multibillion-dollar losses last year, mostly involving soured mortgage-related investments. Merrill Chief Executive Stanley O'Neal, an Obama donor, also was forced out last year.

Overall, Citigroup and Merrill employees have given $519,000 to Clinton, and $354,000 to Obama since January 2007.

Clinton is a top beneficiary of large Wall Street firms in part because she represents New York. And Clinton's ties to the financial services industry extend beyond donations: A senior economic advisor to her campaign is Robert Rubin, Treasury secretary during her husband's administration and now a top official at Citigroup. The consulting firm of Mark Penn, her chief campaign strategist, worked for Calabasas-based Countrywide.

Also, Bill Clinton's administration oversaw significant changes sought by Wall Streeters, including the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act to allow commercial and investment banks to consolidate.

1st sentence. Uh, no, that's not true, and it can be proved.

2nd sentence/question - The biggest wall street firms are run by George soros and Warren Buffet. And most newspapers are extremely liberal and back Obama. TV? except for Fox, they donate to Obama. Same for big business (GE)(Apple).

But some Holywood folks are on the right. You can tell because they are great actors who aren't working.

As for the last 30 years, I've been making it on my own, without the help of government. :-) What have you been doing?

You said that it was because of our "current administration and Mr.Obama" that its now legal for Karl Rove the Koch Brothers, and the other BILLIONAIRES to throw $500,000 to 1 billion to the Super Pacs.

It was actually the Supreme Court's ruling that I cited that opened the floodgates for corporations and special interests to pour money into US elections. essentially drowning out the voices of average Americans.
  • Doc Q 2012/05/11 22:54:20
    Doc
If you recall, it was our current administration that tried to limit corporate donations while still allowing unions to donate freeely.
That's why it went to the supreme court.

    Big oops there, huh?
