If President Obama were to bring home all the troops in Afghanistan in October 2012, would he win by one of the biggest landslides in Presidential history?

First off, the choices are absurd. Where is the "no" option? Second, Obama is not getting re-elected. He is far too corrupt for America to take him as a serious candidate.

Yea, we would be better off with a wild Orangutang fresh out of the jungle. Anything but Obama! Multiply what he has to done to the nation by 4 more years and what is 2016 going to look like?

Better than how Bush left it.

How about a real opinion this time. Who would you rather have in office instead of Obama? There is an election coming up, you know. There are people running in it. There are also those who are more qualified but are not running in this election.

So, who would you rather have as president?

I have felt from time to time that many of the WMDs now in Syria may have been shipped there from Irag. They had the time to put them anywhere. But, even so, BUSH left the White House nearly 4 years ago, how long do you plan to excuse Obama's incompetence by hiding behind the BUSH?

No, we need to maintain some military presence in the Middle East. A complete pullout of all U.S. troops would merely embolden the Iranians, who are poised to create more turmoil in that area. The results are already evident in Syria.

That wouldn't be a responsible thing to do. I don't know anything about war or conflict, and how we should be going about things but just pulling everyone out no matter what the situation over there is doesn't seem responsible. Yea maybe we shouldn't be giving such a crap about what other countries are doing and mind our own business but we are there and I think the approach of pulling everyone out slowly seems like the responsible thing to do rather than the fast approach. But I could be wrong, like I said I know nothing about the military and how they do things.

Why demonstrate your racism and ignorance?
Conditions do not have to be so harsh on the general population.

Remember the LA Riots in '92?

It began with very boring legislation, more deregulation of our banking system. No one was paying attention.

GHW Bush passed banking deregulation legislation that allowed the takeover of regional financial and banking industry, laying off large numbers across the country over a couple years. as operations were concentrated in the northeast.

Then GHW Bush, eager to halt spending on Reagan's modernisation of the military abruptly cancelled all aerospace and defense contracts, effective immediately in 1990. Penalties were paid by Bush for breach of contracts to the corporations, their workforces we're discharged. No one was hiring.

Then Bush downsized the military by about 25%.

By 1992 well over 3 million people in LA County alone had lost their jobs and careers. California's industry was relocating out of state or shut down.

The real estate market collapsed, everybody was upside down on mortgages. The housing market did not stop dropping and recover untill 1997.

In LA the central and south central industrial corridor was shut down. While unemployment in LA County was 10.5% overall, in the South Central corridor it was said to be 35%.

Then 29 April '92 we had the LA Riots erupt in South Central.

Friday evening, President George H.W. Bush spoke to the nation, denouncing "random terror and lawlessness. Citing the "urgent need to restore order", he warned that the "brutality of a mob" would not be tolerated, and he would "use whatever force is necessary".

Vice President Dan Quayle blamed the violence on a "Poverty of Values" –"I believe the lawless social anarchy which we saw is directly related to the breakdown of family structure, personal responsibility and social order in too many areas of our society."

Later in a article in Commentary called "How the Rioters Won", the columnist Midge Decter referred to African-American city youths and asked " How is it possible to go on declaring that what will save the young men of South-Central L.A., and the young girls they impregnate, and the illegitimate babies they sire, is jobs? How is it possible to look at these boys of the underclass ... and imagine that they either want or could hold on to jobs?"

Bush failed to be re elected that November. Everybody said it was just his bad luck to have this little recession just before the election.

    Those darn Republicans.
