If Pat Tillman were living and he decided to run for President, would you vote for him even though you know he is an atheist and would not cater to those who want religion in America?

I haven't the faintest notion of him as a person or his qualifications.
It might be a negative deciding point if both candidates are preceived as equals in abilities and intentions.

Unfortunately, we will never know what his political positions would have been and other experience he may have gotten - impossible to decided if he would have been my pick for president

I would need to hear his opinions on issues that matter to America.

Religion or lack thereof has absolutely nothing to do with running a railroad.

I might I would need to know more about his overall qualifications. I think gods, religions and belief systems or lack there of should be kept out of politics completely. But the idea that he is an Atheist would allow me to give him credence over others to begin with

I don't know enough about Tillman to vote for him, but his religion or lack of one, would have nothing to do with it.

Cowboy...i served (you probably did too) although, for me, it was peacetime...the old saying is still true..'there are no atheists in foxholes' and it's true trust me...when you are being fired upon atheisim is a luxury you can't afford you find yourself believing in god and praying in your own way to get you through whatever

Just because he was atheist doesn't mean he'd be against religion he'd just be smart enough to not allow anybody to try pushing it.
