This so called compromise is really just a sham. If the insurance companies have to pay for it you know the cost will be passed on to the companies buying the insurance so the churches will end up paying for it anyway. Gongress shall pass no law that interfers with the cannons of the church.

He didn't walk back. All he did is say that the insurance company would provide birth control for free. Well it won't be free and the Catholic Church will still have to provide the Health Insurance and pay a higher premium.

Absolutely not. And this is only a temporary band aid that expires in 6 months to a year. Then we will face the same issue again, and if Obama is re-elected there will be nothing we can do about it. Remember the huge outcry from Americans when the health care bill was going through, it did not matter that the overwhelming majority of us did not want this monstrous bill, we were all ignored. The same will be done for any issue that comes up concerning this or any other thing that Obama wants if he retains office.

What gets me is that even on Fox this is referred to as a contraception issue. That makes it sound like it is all over women getting free birth control and nothing more. This regulation requires employers and insurance to provide for the morning after pill, and abortions. The churches have the right to say no. If you don't like what insurance is provided with them as employers, then go to work for someone who provides the benefits you desire. Isn't that simple?
