There is not just cause to destroy the system just because you didn't get your way politically.

Missed you, too, but I remember your saying you had to stand up a medical operation and I know how time-consuming that must have been. Are you still looking at an end-of-year deployment?

No, it's not supposed to be till late next year now, and the way things are winding down we may not get back there at all.

Good to hear. The sooner we get out of there, the better I like it.

The only worry I have is that the Chief of Staff, being a former Col. of the Regiment (Regimental Commander), may push for us to go back in so we can have one more battle streamer on the colors and for "tradition".

Just as I will oppose the next conservative who will eventually be elected but NOT loose my perspective. I will not claim that somehow "THIS time it's different" and that we have claim the right to break the system because of of an unfounded belief that our country cannot handle someone with a different political philosophy than I have.

President Obama stands ~ a 50/50 shot of being elected. He'll either win by a small margin or lose by a small margin. About 1/2 the country prefer President Obama to Governor Romney. Try to undermine the will of the other half of the American public and face the wrath of law, order, and justice for such unAmerican and undemocratic thuggish behavior.

This time is different because Obama is doing so much outside the governance of congress. He's delegating dangerous things. And, did you know, Hilary is about to sign a world-wide gun control commitment.

Which won't take one gun away from law abiding American citizens. It will be a boon for gun sellers though.

I'm a conservative. Obama will only get 4 more years then we got another chance without ruining our country with more violence. That's just ridiculous. And probably that same mentality got Gabby Giffords shot. Let's do it the right way. The American way with elections.
