But mostly because as the top-rated poster put forth, the country is more than stable enough to continue on into the future even if someone you don't like, be they right or left is elected or reelected to the Presidency. There is not just cause to destroy the system just because you didn't get your way politically.
Liberals WILL get elected and sometimes reelected.
Just as
Consevatives will get elected and sometimes reelected.
So how bout we just drive on, and ditch the "let's go to war with the other half of the population over this ONE guy!" silliness...
But I promised myself I would make time to pop in here.
Dumber things have happened.
I can do without the care package if you blow the occasional kiss in my direction.
(wink)
Just as I will oppose the next conservative who will eventually be elected but NOT loose my perspective. I will not claim that somehow "THIS time it's different" and that we have claim the right to break the system because of of an unfounded belief that our country cannot handle someone with a different political philosophy than I have.
President Obama stands ~ a 50/50 shot of being elected. He'll either win by a small margin or lose by a small margin. About 1/2 the country prefer President Obama to Governor Romney. Try to undermine the will of the other half of the American public and face the wrath of law, order, and justice for such unAmerican and undemocratic thuggish behavior.
Stealin' that meme.
Oh wait ... you're the goofball from the other post. On a roll tonight, they throw you out of the corner bar?
They don't let idiots blog from prison!
