If Obama gets re-elected, will conservatives finally start being decent Americans again?

They will try and keep up their reckless and hatred behavior.

I'm hoping that as the generation who divided the entire world into "good and evil", "right and wrong", "conservative and liberal", etc. dies off, both sides will come to some sort of middle ground and agree on a good combination of freedom, humanitarianism, environmentalism, etc. where we can begin building a future that is sustainable for generations to come...because the world we live in right now is not going to be able to sustain no matter who is in charge of it.

See, what has happened is that the generation that caused this giant deficit and stupid sniping political system is now retiring, and has more time to engage in ridiculous political pissing matches. It will take a while until we are through with the big "bump" in the baby boom and more start dying than retiring.
