If Obama asks you if you're better off now than you were in 2008 under Bush, what would you tell him?

My investments are down. My net worth is down. My business volume is down. My debt is up. And my quality of life has diminished. I would tell Obama what every American citizen should tell him:

Our government has lost all moral values and trying to tear down this country our founding fore father found ad built on truth , morals, and freedom, and liberty. You lie most of the time, you aid countries that hurt us. Plus you spend to much money on foolish stuff. You take every opportunity to push your laws through, even poor little children. I do not know how you sleep at night when you are selling out the American people and this great country. You are all selling your soul to the devil with all your lies and cover-ups.

I am worth around 3/4 of what I was under Bush, the cost of gasoline is double, inflation is driving up the cost of food and goods, my business is stagnant and I won't hire anyone, health insurance is up, the country is divided, racism is worse and I am generally ashamed to have him as my president. Bush made me proud. Obie makes me ashamed to be an American.

I would truthfully answer that since he was president my income was down, the prices at the grocery store are up, my health insurance has skyrocketed, but his prized health care regulations have hurt my relatives and thier ability to receive care.

But then again, it would be much safer to walk away and say nothing, before I ended up on his attack list. People who disagree or critizise him seem to end up being torn to shreds in the media

Mr President, my industry is still in the hopper. I had to take another cut in pay and prospects for any kind of recovery with the direction the country is going in now looks very pessimistic at best and I could not afford another four years of the direction the nation is headed in now. I would like to fire all of Congress if I could to but since I can't, I choose to replace you with a person who has a better grasp of what business and the economy needs to start growing again.

NO JOBS.. lost mine right after Obama got elected and haven't been able to get another one since.. but on the up side it's actually saved us money.. NOW my husband can claim me as a dependent and since our taxes ..federal.. local..state have increased about 75% (the state of IL increased their's 67% all by themselves..).. we need me NOT to work at least not at a outside job..

What a lazy drain you must be - a dependent at your age...get off your husband's balls and get off your fat ass and get a job. MILLIONS of women- single mothers and grandmothers alike- are able to find work doing something - anything. All you have are excuses - You must WANT to be a mooch - acting as if for tax purposes you can't work - pssh. What is that tax called? The dependent tax for lazy mooch ass hypocrites and bitches? Too bad your 'supposed' education was nothing but a waste of time.

First EDUCATION is what you get at SCHOOL.. LEARNING is what you do in LIFE.. I am NOT a drain on ANYONE.. I did my time.. NOW I am retired.. my bills are paid.. AND I can actually take the time to do things like grow and can my own food.. help out relatives by babysitting or driving them places.. enjoy the house I WORKED hard for and do all those things that got put on the back burner.. AND at the same time.. keep from having to support those that REFUSE to help themselves.. NOT the ones who can't the ones who WON'T..and I feel GREAT about myself.. since the government doesn't bother to ask me WHERE I want my tax dollars spent they deserve LESS of them..

I no longer have a job, my husband lost his job a week after I did, we had to forget the idea of buying a larger home to accommodate our growing family, we're bankrupt now. We were coming up on "upper middle class" and were drop-kicked to poverty level. No, we're not better off now, thank you very much.

We haven't had any kids since both of us losing our jobs. I was expecting during the time of us both losing employment. There's nothing to do from that point on. At least we pay for our own medical expenses.

    ............... JAN. 3 - 2007 - the beginning of the Great Decline

January 3, 2007 was the day that Democrats took control of both houses of Congress. Let's take a factual look at what they inherited.

The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77

    The unemployment rate was 4.6%

The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%

The economy had just set a record of 52 straight months of job creation

26 million Americans were on food stamps

47 banks were on the FDIC problem list

The Social Security program took in the neighborhood of 100 billion more than it paid out

The national debt was approaching 9 trillion dollars

Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee

Obama became a Senator from Illinois

Bush was on record requesting restraint on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae 17 times

Since then, it was Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae that dumped trillions of dollars of toxic assets on taxpayers. It was Obama who got the third highest pay-out from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. It was the Democratic Congress that defended them along the way.

So since it was the Democrats that were really driving the car, I think they get the DUI even though they insisted Bush was driving. I think the evidence speaks for itself.

WE ALL KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY!
