	No, the American People & the Constitution are the priority, not creating another loop hole to screw over The People.
	No one is served when the greater purpose of The Office cheats the interests of those working hard everyday to pay for that person to run the Country.
	It protecting the President's bad choices is paramount to following the law.
	I don't mind if he misuses his power. Just as long as no other President does.

Nixon tried using the Executive Privilege and ended up resigning when the courts protected the interests of the people.

We can only hope for the same outcome here.

I was just a baby, but I can't help but wonder..had Nixon had use of the Patriot Act, would the outcome have been different....simpler times

Actually he did- imagine if he had gotten away with it- what he COULD have hid. Guess it's up to the Supreme Court and it's judicial activism (sarcasm) to protect the people's rights to know what the Government is doing with their tax dollars--- and asking service members to do!!!!

watergate was BS to begin with,. watergate was an elaborate plot whose sole purpose was the political assassination of Richard Nixon.
