Point 2. North Dakota. The US is producing more oil and gas then ever before in safer locations. It is likely that new technology will allow more domestic and Canadian production. That means less and less need to involve ourselves with the expensive middle east. To our benefit neither China nor Europe has this advantage. In fact we are already exporting natural gas.
If I were a Saudi, I'd start thinking about good recipes for sand.
So to blame Obama is the biggest joke on here when I see it. One word, CONGRESS is the biggest stop gap I have seen in my 47 yrs of existence and quite frankly have yet to see the end of it.
Have you ever seen the series "Jericho"? Watch from the beginning if you can and it will blow your mind at what the possibilities our people in power could do and become. Life is what we make of it.
There is no good or bad in life, but thinking it makes it so.
Question: If we taxed the rich, and the government spent at the same rate they are, how long will they last?
Well the governments spends about $3.6 trillion dollars a year, making $10 billion a day
If we taxed all of the billionaires, 100%, every single penny they have, $1.4 Trillion, we will have enough to spend for 140 days.
If we cut the entire military and privatized National Defense, we would have enough money to spend for 70 days
If we took all the profits from every fortune 500 company, we would have enough money to spend for 30 days.
So with getting rid of the rich and all of their profits, we still wouldn't be able to last a year without going into debt.
And don't say debt is good, it's bad because the most likely scenario of getting out nowadays, is either money from other nations, or printing money. Both do harm to your currency.
And whenever someone talks about cutting welfare spending the left calls them selfish and greedy.
Okay if you don't like Romney, don't vote for him, and if Obama gets re-elected only expect more debt, because never have I once heard Obama talk about balancing a budget since he's been elected. And if you either want to our debt to be owned by other nations or the federal reserve go ahead.
