If a local cop sees a federal crime going down he should be able to intervene?? Example bank robbery, illegal aliens jumping ship in harbor ?? If a man jumps on/off a train the local cop should be able to make an arrest??

What if the crime is no longer in progress?

No, if it is federal jurisdiction, they should not make an arrest.

At least that's what the SC just said. I agree with Scalia (can't believe I'm saying that lol).

A person who commits a crime is a criminal, right? Entering this country illegally is a crime, right? Do the math, SCOTUS!

I know the Constitution reserves immigration to the federal gov't., but the whole point of the AZ law was that the feds weren't enforcing fed law -- and this is now ok? WTF??!!

So if a police officer sees a federal bank being robbed, what should he do?

Yes, local law enforcement should make the arrest.
