No Not since she tried to ratify a small arms treaty via the UN. I hate the UN and want it out of here and us out of it. The USA is a sovereign nation and should not be goverened by UN mandates. She was selling us down the river.

YES!!!! I wish she wouldn't have been screwed over by the "ESTABLISHMENT" in 2008, and became President. When her and Bill ran the country, the economy was much better.

Because charism is what truly matters when running a country. Intelligence, wisdom, knowledge, all that is nothing compared to charisma, right? If only she was the type of person I felt like I could have a beer with, huh. I mean that worked so well with Bush #2.

Why not, we need a woman, enough with all the wars. She is not her husband.

Are you crazy? She wouldn't be where she is if it wasn't for her husbands success. She is just as useless as the rest of the poli-wives. And weak. She can't do anything on her own without crying to the government first. Also, women have their own gory history...plenty of war included. So don't think that a woman in office will not likely result in any kind of war...you're wrong there. Women are violent creatures...just like men.

You seem to be on the violent side, but most women are more level headed.
What you say about Hillary is simply NOT true.

No. Women work on emotion more than anything. It's in their nature.

And yes, what I say about Hillary IS true. Who was the Gov of Arkansas? Not Hillary. Who ran and won the presidential election twice? Not Hillary. Hillary Clinton would not be in the position that she's in if it wasn't for her husband. If we're to have a female president, it needs to be someone who hasn't made it into politics by the way of following in her husbands wake. She is a faux-feminist...she sings and dances the tune but would not have been able to do it without riding her husbands coattails. Pathetic.

I have read much about the Clintons and like all politicians they are both ruthless and Bill would not have gotten as far without Hillary. She has come to her own being the Sec. of State.

And I had the misfortune of actually living near them. What I say is the truth. Not some made-up story of their lives. Anyone with a functioning pair of eyes can see Hillary is exactly what I, and many others, say she is. Why else would she, "a strong woman", stick by his side after he screwed around? There was an agenda and nothing was going to get in her way. Don't romanticize the Clinton's relationship...

I'm anything but a romantic and anyone who is that successful must be driven. I certainly would not judge her for her decision to stay with her husband, its her life.
  • Theresa... Jane 2012/08/09 22:46:15
    Theresa2000
I didn't say you were a romantic. I said don't romanticize the Clinton's relationship. You can be one without the other.

Regardless, we need a woman that is a POSITIVE image in the world of politics. Not one that is tainted by her husband and his actions. She will always be the wife of Bill Clinton....one who couldn't leave when Bill screwed another woman. Oops...not quite screwed... That's it. Period.

Being Sec. of State Hillary is well respected around the world and there is no question she is highly intelligent. If someone is holds her in contempt for her husbands actions, I would say that someone is shallow.
