If guns kill people, that must mean cars kill people too. Should we ban cars for murdering people?

 Yes! We must stop the car madness!
People kill people, can't blame objects for actions people do.
Can't compare the two, car accidents are accidents, death by gun is always on purpose.
We should ban everything that could possibly kill us.
People can kill eachother with any object.

    When a drunk driver kills someone,
    a passenger, or another driver,
    the drunk driver is prosecuted. Rightly so...

    Here in Florida near to the town I'm living in an 86 year old woman stopped for directions from a 91 year old man. After receiving directions, she "accidentally" backed up over him -- killing him.

    As long as your banning cars, please ban the elderly too.

    I am not a proponent for gun bans, but comparing the two is not the same. Killing someone with a gun is nearly always on purpose, and killing someone with a car is nearly always an accident.

    it is a vastly ignored point. You can take every single leagally own gun and melt them down and there will be no discernable change in gun deaths or gun violence

    When they banned guns inAustralia it cost them 2 billion dollars to do it and violent crime rose by as high as 350% in some areas

    Not really it has been proven over and over in Canada Crime jumped when they stated resricting gun same in Britian. FBI statistics prove over and over the tougher the gun laws in any area the higher teh violernt crime rate. Where people carry and own crime is lower. The CDC also confirms this.
