    Many of these southern european countries got in by fudging their figures which got the green light from the big pair. Now they are reaping the benefits.
    They should have gone with full political union. It would be hard to keep together a large country like this. I am sure that India has vastly differing economies within itself from the borders of Nepal to the central drylands. I imagine it is the same in USA. How do New York and Louisiana benefit eachother being in the same economy?

    Greece should never have joined anyway. The European economies are far too different to be truly integrated with one currency. It should have been confined to Northern Europe alone, the Southern European states, and former Communist Block, are no asset. As for celebrating, I doubt it. What's been done has been done, and now things will start to get ugly.

    I don't know so much of the financial sector has be built like a house of cards, as long as people hold their nerve it's ok, but if confidence falls as it may then the dominos could fall at a geometric progression. That would be a wost case scenario which could melt down economys across the world.

    Eventually they are all going to fall with the exception of Germany however they will be negatively affected as will we....what is Obama's plan???
