If FEMA came to your house and told you that you needed to be evacuated for your own good, would you trust them?

No way. I know about FEMA camps. If it was to leave the area because of fire or something, yes, I would leave on my own, NOT with them.

Not Happening! Before I give up my right to live, I will definitely fight for my freedom, even if it is going to cost me my life. The way I got it figured, I lose either way, and I would rather die fighting, then be carted and chatteled for experimental purposes, labor, and execution...

I have the sense to assess a situation and determine what I need to do. I don't need FEMA to tell me and I wouldn't believe them is they said, "hello."

In Colorado this summer there were eight deaths in the wildfires. All eight had been told to vacate their houses and leave the area, and all refused to leave. All were found in the ashes of their homes. There is a point where society has no further responsibility for nutcases or persons who are simply stupid. I note that 50% of those who have posted answers here at this time are of that nature - stupid, or driven by some mental thing to
remain in their house and face whatever is the problem - maybe radiation, anthrax, some
virus, whatever. Leave the cat and dog outside so they can do what their good sense
and instincts tell them. As for yourselves, just leave a note somewhere advising the phone number of a nest of kin. So long, have a good trip.

It would require a MIGHTY good story that could be checked out from independent sources. Even then, no way would I go with FEMA!

Yes, if the story was good enough, I might evacuate on my own, but I will never go with them.

A situation like this would force a very ugly decision to be made by several individuals. Anyone trying to kick a hypothetical me out of my hypothetical home will have already decided to kill or be killed. If not, s/he/they showed up without a brain.
