If election held today, who would you vote for, Obama, Romney, generic Dem, generic Repub, third-party candidate?

You!

Sorry, folks, am not interested in opinions, this is strictly a poll for info. So please tell me your party affiliation - Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Green Party, Independent and then tell me who you would vote for today. Choices - Romney, Obama, an unnamed democrat, an unnamed Republican, a Libertarian candidate (please give name here) or Green Party candidate (please give name here) or an Independent candidate (please give name here.)

Nothing difficult - just party affiliation and who you would vote for if election held today. That's all I need. Thanks.

Mittens. He is not the person I would have originally picked to represent conservatives, thanks to the media, but he is 100% better than Barry.

If Paul should somehow survive the RINO's, he's okay too.

Ron Paul if he's on the ballot, but if not will vote for the next candidate that I feel would best fill the Constitutional role of President, former Governor Gary Johnson on the Libertarian ticket.

Murph 65 - you have someone here who is harassing people for who they will vote for. I thought you were clear about no other opinions. What are you going to do about this?

Don't know, just got on today after posting yesterday. Will have to read through everything and find this someone. Then I suppose I will, what, report him to SH? How?

Never have gotten around to blocking people. If I get completely ticked with them, I ignore them. Sometimes just letting someone have the last word makes them move on. I only found him about three times. You're right, he's being jerky, but he didn't answer poll, don't care what he thinks. I'm appreciative of those of you who did answer. It will be interesting to see how this little slice of SH measures up against professional polls on this same issue which seem to change minute by minute and I think the pollsters tend to skew the question to get the answers/numbers they want. May be wrong, don't know, but this will be interesting. My dem friends have been giving me great support here in answering, not so much from my conserv friends.

That's what everyone says they want, us all to come together. It isn't going to happen; it can't. We are too many different people with different ways of looking at the world. Heck, it's hard to get all the people in my family to agree on most things and we're family. We certainly do not agree on our politics. But we're family so we don't completely "kill" each other. We need the ying and yang ,or whatever it is. Sometimes it's "I win," sometimes it's "He wins." All in all I think it balances out pretty well. Maybe everyone feels more separated because we are now in an age where we can get information immediately as opposed to 30, 40 years ago. Don't know. Can't do more than pay attention, read a lot, discern for ourselves what is or is not the truth - as much of the truth as we are able to get - vote and hope for the best.

Hey, Kiddo, thanks for answering the post, but was doing this because I'm tired of the professional polls and wanted to get a take on a straightforward question, who you going to vote for and the political affiliation. I think I stated this posted wasn't interested in any "commentary" or opinion. Will look for your answer to the post.

Not voting for Mitt will ensure Obamas reelection, so if you vote for any other than Mitt you have just voted in Obama! I call it common sense.

As a libertarian you are supposed to be on our side....we are to get along...I'm a member of the Tea Party. It's people like you that get dumb asses like obama voted in. Why would you allow obama to win the election by not voting for Mitt? Mitt and the Tea Party see eye to eye and Beck supports him.

The tea party of today isn't what it use to be, it's been hijacked by neoconservative (progressives in elephant underwear). So called tea party candidates have voted for the reauthorization of the Patriot Act, Iran sanctions (act of war), NDAA 2012 (allows you & me to do be detained indefinitely in secret locations), SOPA, PIPA, CISPA, etc. No we are not on the same Page. I want bare minimum government acting within the limitations our Constitution gives them, the Tea Party wants an authoritarian and warmongering government based on their voting record.
