Well that's sweet. I do love my kids, and I'd take a bullet for each of them, and I try to parent to the best of my abilities. It's sad though, if I'm the first and only that you've met. I do acknowledge, there are plenty of parents out there that have no business parenting.

Everyother parent i meet says "beat kids hard and if it doesn't work beat them harder" To me that stuff angers me. But when a parent does what you do/did then i don't see them as bad parents. Although i may not agree with spanking, at least they know what they are doing and they are not going extream. i've meet parents who don't spank their children but never have i meet a parents who does what you did. parents like you i have respect for including the ones who don't spank. But the others well lets just say i have a word or two about them.

government already has way too much involvement in how I raise my children. Someone can just be pissed at you, call Child Services, and by law child services gets to see everything in your house and question your children alone.
