I actually view "nude dancing" as artistic expression. I used to go to strip clubs and the dancers where actually very good, despite the nudity.
I actually took a couple of the women out and had really good conversations with them, they where intelligent and bright and knew exactly what they wanted out of life.
I don't view the women as "victims" as much as "opportunists", seizing an opportunity to make a lot of money in a short period of time, the guys who visit are also willing participants and are not forced to spend their money there.
Note: I know there are many "sad" stories that can be told about women in that profession, but, I ask you to pick out a single profession where women are immune to those issues.
Iceland Bans Strip Clubs: Should Strip Clubs Be Banned Everywhere?

Iceland has just passed a law that prohibits any business from making a profit on the nudity of its employees.
The country is quickly becoming an example on how to rid a nation of the sex industry. The law was passed with no objection and will quickly eradicate any strip clubs holding on within the country (can't be that many with a 320,000 population).
Stip club owners are, not surprisingly, furious about the decision and plan on protesting it. The law could spell death for the sex industry in Iceland. But is this an example that other countries should follow? Should strip clubs be banned everywhere?

Have your boyfriend/husband take you to one you will end up having a great time.
The point I'm trying to make is objectivity. If the people employed in such businesses and the people patronizing them don't mind, then why should you? I could understand you having an issue in certain single mothers started picking up their kids from soccer practice in G-strings or something, but for the dancers I've known, they have more tact than that.
If I buy a woman dinner and we have a one night stand, can that not also be seen by someone as recieveing "goods for services rendered"?
You have zero respect for women, the mere comparison of a one night stand compared to a "goods for services" remark is just ludicrous. And yes I will judge you because people can see exactly what your like from the questions and answers you give.
For the person who gave you such a hate filled judgemental reply .... I DONT blame them!
If I buy a woman dinner and we have sex, it's still consensual, it's still between two aduls and she still ends up with a free meal. Now If I pay a woman, and she uses that money to buy food after we've had sex how is that technically different? The answer, it's not.
The difference comes in to a person's individual values on what they BELIEVE is morally correct. the fault arises in the person's perception of the act.
Also... if all you got from my response was that I have "zero respect for women", then you're judgement of me is not even an issue. You believe what you want, as is your right. I love women, and am stilled odd by their complexities. I believe the female form is the most beautiful and fascinating creation God could ever muster. And for all those strippers and so-called "whores" as the poster of which my response was aimed at stated..... I'm not any of their daddies...... so who am I to presume I can tell them what to do with their lives and bodies?
If you so called "love women" then you would have the guts to tell them that stripping is demeaning and they should consider another line of work because you actually give a damn.
Instead it sounds like your fear of intervening is making you "step back and dismiss" the issue. See I WILL intervene if I see someone going through something that is demeaning, I don't care how much they hate hearing it.
At least if they hate me for it I cant say that I did not react and try to open their minds because in the end they cut their own logic of to me.
You feel differently than I do, so you feel it is that these women chose a poor life path. Again, neither of is worng, we just have different views.
And, I don't feel any animosity towards you, but I do think it is unfair to think that my view that a woman who is confident enough in her sexuality to dance topless and nude and not judge her, but to celebrate it, is wrong.
