State Democratic lawmaker Becky Carney -- who opposed legislation to allow hydraulic fracturing for natural gas in her state -- pushed the wrong button in a late night vote and unintentionally became the deciding vote to overturn Governor Bev Purdue's veto of the bill.
Afterward, Carney tearfully said -- quote-- "I feel rotten, and I feel tired. And I feel that mistakes are made constantly when people are tired. And I feel rotten about it, but I take responsibility for my vote."
