I want to see proof that Osama Bin Laden is dead, don't you?

I don't find it odd that our President and his team decided not to create a possible pilgrimage place by burial on land; that they opted to forestall criticism from the Muslim world by disposing the Bin Ladin's body in a timely fashion; and that they didn't wish to give a visual aid to potential martyrdom that a photo might have generated.

And beyond all that, why would I doubt it? Too many people were privy to the mission for a hoax.

With so many flip-flops on the actual account of what happened, in addition to being caught staging events countless times, it is proving difficult to hold this flimsy fairytale together.

Because by thinking that the government did it give you a feeling of power (after all, you know information the average person doesn't). Do you actually realize how immensely foolish it is to think the government attacked it's own country? That's not even logical. The feeling of empowerment is more important to you than actual proof he was responsible. The problem isn't proof that Bin Laden did it. The problem is within your head.

Why would anyone be afraid to ask questions? The majority of the 9-11 commissioners said the government agreed to lie about the report. Government is very compartmentalized, so no one is accusing any party of deception. The problem is in your head, if you think questions are a threat.

If I showed you the body of a dead guy with a bullet hole in his face - how would you be sure it was, or was not, Osama bin Laden? Dead guys who have been shot look quite a bit different from live terrorists with a beard and a towel on their head.

You can't see 'LIVE coverage' of something that happened in the past and you also can fake videos as easily as you can fake photos.

Maybe Obama could have released the photos if a bunch of Americans didn't go nuts after the news of Osama's death and begin acting like, I don't know, al-Qaeda members did when they killed Americans.

There is still a lot of debate to be had, and maybe in the future when things have calmed down the photos will be released, but for now it should be a higher priority that we don't incite a terror attack with our arrogant behavior.

I've definitely heard stuff like 'oh is he dead from that last drone assault?' but never a full blown (widely accepted) proclamation of death.

Show me proof that he died Sunday....as far as the other times he died...look them up for yourself.

The simple truth is it won't matter. If Obama went against all his advisors and released the photos, you and the rest of the RWNJ's would just turn around and call them fakes!!! There is no way to win against such hatred and stupidity. You can't handle the truth, so why risk angering the whole Mideast over pictures that could then be used to incite his followers and allow the pics to circulate and be used to recruit new terrorists who will try to portray OBL as a martyr? Obama has shown them to memebers of Congress, Dems & Repubs, and they were horrified by the gruesome shots. Diplomats and people a whole heck of a lot smarter than you have advised

Everyone would, but we will never see any photo's because there are none. This whole thing was staged to bring up Obama's poll numbers. There are so many wholes with this Bin Laden is dead story. It is very clear to me this was staged for re-election gain. Obama will do anything to get re-elected!

How absurd! All OBL would have to do is make another of his frequent tapes to show that he's still alive. How can you people be this stuipid? You can't 'pretend' to kill someone, because they would simply stand up, speak up and say, "Hey, I'm alive!!" Duh!!

OBL taping himself proves nothing, the date can be changed. How many times can OBL die anyway? Duh! He was supposed to have died of renal failure several years ago.
