I voted republican because...a thought to ponder

"I propose the most extensive reorganization of the Federal Government since the 1940's by creating a new Department of Homeland Security"
-president George W. Bush; message to Congress, June 18 2002

The Constitution is a set of Laws governing how our Government is structured, what its purpose is, and the extent of it's power. George Bush created a whole new post-9/11 government with the power of Joseph Stalin to control and monitor it's people. I don't want the President himself to have DIRECT control over the nations vaccine stockpile and the Nuclear Incident Response Department.

I voted Republican because I liked the idea of our president restructuring our government and giving the executive branch complete power to access and control almost all the important infrastructure in America, anonomously. The PATRIOT Act gave George Bush sweeping executive powers over The office of Homeland Security . The Department of Homeland Security is the largest and most powerful branch of government ever created in American history. It has absolute secret power, by law, over treasury, agriculture, energy, transportation, general services, justice, commerce, information, health & human services, and defense. It is a government unto itself. SEE Public Law No: 107-292.

I voted Republican because I believe America stands for torture and war, we are no better than those we kill. The 25 million Iraqi human beings (actual people like you and me) directly affected deserved to have thier country looted and lawless, followed by mass violence and terror.

I voted Republican because I believe it is responsible to borrow $1 trillion from foreign countries to pay for that accidental war, and to ensure we qualify we give our industry, resources, jobs, and promise a western style economy to our previous enemies.

I voted Republican because even if the levee the government made broke, New Orleans is a better place without being rebuilt. The people that lived there were poor and on welfare, it was GOD cleaning house. We'll keep it that way.

I voted Republican because I believe the Geneva Convention is for other peoples war.

I voted Republican because I wanted to bail out AIG and give Bank of America enough money to buy Merrill Lynch, after they nhad made bad business investments. The market would have crashed? It did. We should have let them die, smaller business would have moved in quickly, picked up the pieces (as investments, thus allowing the course). But that would have been conservative.

I voted Republican, 8 years later....we worked America over for all she had, no-bid contracts and oil company love. When the stock market crashed, so did the price of gas. We were told that the price had nothing to do with investors, Cheney knew, he headed the department with 8000 employees that oversee energy.

I voted Republican because I like Bank of America more than I like people retiring and enjoying life.

I voted Democrat because I think it so wonderful to watch our President bow to the leaders of other nations instead of standing up like a man, look them straight in the eye and shake their hand. /Leftist worm

I voted Democrat because I just can't wait to pay five dollars gallon of gas. / Forbiding drilling permits.

I voted Democrat to save the great mother earth by removing the cardboard rolls from toilet paper./Typical leftist jackass thinking

The above article has all the markings of another leftist tantrum. There are many good reasons why people are being so critical of Barack Obama. Sarah Palin closed with this statement during the Vise Presidential debate of 2008 for a reason.

"It was Ronald Reagan who said that freedom is always just one generation away from extinction. We don't pass it to our children in the bloodstream; we have to fight for it and protect it, and then hand it to them so that they shall do the same, or we're going to find ourselves spending our sunset years telling our children and our children's children about a time in America, back in the day, when men and women were free."

I voted Republican because I do not believe in handouts to to illegals. I do not believe in getting our agents killed because the Democrats gave arms to the Mexican drug Cartel. I not only voted republican, I spent well over a thousand hours working as a volunteer because I believed in the man running, but that was Ronald Reagan, who wouldn't wipe his ass with today's chickenhawk bible thumpers.

I became a progressive when I saw how his policies, which looked good on paper, screwed every American citizen worth less than a million dollars.

Your current attitude will only hurt your fellow citizens. I pray that you will change your position. One of the basic rights guaranteed by the Constitution is the right to vote. That may not seem like a big deal, but it is a very important right—only if YOU use it. Your vote is just as important as the President’s! If you don’t vote, you can’t participate fully in the democratic process. If you do vote, you are a participant. If you don’t, you can only be an onlooker. You will have the satisfaction of participating actively in the democratic process. Someone who doesn’t bother checking the news, doesn’t care about the election, and doesn’t go to the polls to vote loses out on this.

I voted Republican because the demovrats are all a bunch of socialists intent on destroying America and turning us into another failed third world country. I believe in limited gov't and the rights of the people and that Washington works for us not vice versa. I believe that under the Republicans we stand a better chance of getting our country back to where it's supposed to be.

I voted Republican this election because the progressive wing of the Democratic Party asked us moderate or conservative Dems to leave their party cause we wouldn't jump on board the abortion for all train, and the grand around the world apology tour by the Usurper in Chief. He has made us weaker in the eyes of the world community.
