The P/E Ratio is still too high. I'm repeating what I read -- I don't know P/E from P/U. I just know lower is good. :)

Personally, I think any company that has no real assets, nothing more than paper, is overvalued at any price. Of course, in trying to establish a value for an offering, one only has to look at the past advertisement income, potential repeat income, potential growth, and then determine a value based on net operating costs and profit margin. I would think that $5 to $10 initially is more than sufficient with the number of shares backing it up. Other than a half ass guess, I would hesitate to put much money in Facebook.

I think its a scam that is going to make Suckerburg even more filthy rich than he already is. I wouldnt doubt he did it so you SUCKERS can pay his taxes for him with YOUR MONEY.

I would wait until after the lawsuit is settled and see where it is then. Could be less that $10.00. May be a good buy then but not at $31.00, not now!

Its really over valued. I wouldn't touch it at such an over inflated price.

I would wait till $28 at least, but I must admit that I'm pretty bearish on the whole market.

Better now, than 5 years down the road, who knows, Facebook could go the way of Friendster and MySpace, or it'll become more expensive as it goes on. :P

I just read Ian Wyatt's article in his Daily Profit newsletter saying that FB will drop to the $20 range.

Well, I gather there was some kind of electronic screw-up as well, which is getting straightened out and will mean refunds, so maybe some people will feel better. Of course, some might end up feeling worse too lol.

I think it's speculators playing it too close to the vest. Face Book is a household name world wide. I'm sure that there are teenagers who wouldn't have the slightest idea what to do with a computer If there were no Facebook.
It might be one of those slow burning stocks that will pay off in time, but this economy isn't the perfect time for a company to go public.

I don't think FB needed to raise capital either, do you?

FB needed to raise capital as much as the 50 foot tall woman needs high heels. FB going public was influenced by greedy stock brokers, who saw dollar signs but didn't bother to do an anxiety check on the investors.
