I hope that the teachers and their Union is happy that they just raped the City, and everybody else. And the Mayor and the Court did nothing by cave in to the Union.

If you recall, the teachers and union wanted 30%. The Mayor 15% Do all you who support Public Service Unions, still support them? They just got a 17% raise over four years. Folks, no public school teacher should be making more than our Police or other Emergency Personnel. I really hope that this comes back to bit you all in the ass. Because you didn't earn it, and you didn't build it.
Chicago strike ends with no clear winner.
Chicago strike ends with no clear winner.
We said that we couldn't solve all the problems of the world with one contract," Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis said on Tuesday night. "And it was time to end the strike."
No there is a loser and no winners. Neither the Teachers, Unions, or the City are winners. And the Losers were our children.

+1Chicago teachers we're the highest paid teachers in the entire nation BEFORE this strike. Chicago failed America big time. Those teachers are obviously more about greed than teaching our youth. Something should be done.reply -
They still are!!!!reply - Rustie 2012/09/19 20:57:30

+1They don't have to do it next year, they will get 17% over the next four years. But you might be right, they did not get the 30% they really wanted over the next four years.reply - Rustie Patriot... 2012/09/20 14:09:37
