I honestly think the goverment should put a cap on how much profit a company can make without sharing the difference with the employees. That is before bonuses

I just think it is ridiculous how much money these corporations make but yet their employees make it from pay day to pay day. I think 40% is a fair margin and the rest should have to be split among employees

If the employees would buy stock in the company they could get some of the profit or suffer some of the loss. If they want 60% of the profit they should own 60% of the company. I honestly don't believe in theft.

Companies do just that with SHAREHOLDERS ..... those who have risked their own funds to invest in the company and give the employees a place to work ,..... as in J-O-B.

Employees are free to purchase stock in the company (in most cases) and roll the dice along with the others.

Ok so you must then be willing to pay the difference out of your pay of course if they make less than 40% profit right? You know if they make no profit then you will be happy to work for no pay right?

Nope and 40% is a substantial profit and that is usually after they give each other million pluse bonuses. Why should the average American make minimum wage or slighly above so someone else can profit millions

The average American has a choice to accept the wages being paid or not to. If you aren't willing to pay if they don't make a profit then I can see no reason why you should be paid beyond your agreed upon wage when they do make a profit.

so then you shouldn't have a problem with a 40% cap. For your information though if you figure their profit margin before these outrageous bonuses it would be well over 40% and they would even have to pay their share of taxes....man wouldn't that be unfair

Sorry I'm sure I said there should be a 40% cap before bonuses and and share the rest with the ones who actually made the money. I'm not here to debate with you who made what. I will say though that there is alot more made than what is reported and that corporate over pays itself to the extreme to keep the profit margin down even though all the money still goes in their pockets it is just away round paying the taxes they owe

Also many will show operating at a loss after paying theirselves several million a year and actually get a tax rebate and if you are not aware of these methods you must have your head in the sand

So still just generalities but not a single example... You apparently have no idea about any company and it's profits - before or after bonuses. You're just spouting wind you've heard others, who are equally misinformed, spout with abandon.

You obviously have some specific company in mind. Why not just say which company it is that makes over 40% profit before bonuses that you're so bothered by?
