I have a very interesting question. I one Lacks Morals or Ethics. Or just pane has none. And can not defend their record, or their history if running for the first time. Why in the Hell would they think they were qualified to run at all, or again.?????

And why would anybody vote for such a person, either the first time or over and over.
You!

"I one Lacks Morals or Ethics."

...sounds like Romney o.O In fact the whole thing sounds like Romney. (But I'm assuming its supposed to be Obama?)

Lacks Morals or Ethics... well ... name me something Romney hasn't flip flopped on. It's often made fun of that Romney 'has no core'. According to the records Romney is also running for the second time (along side Obama).

    So same question applies o.O

The fact is, Obama was elected president and Mitt Romney was not. If anyone is more qualified it is Obama President elect because he has experience now of the role where Romney does not. After all Obama has been a Senator since 1997 where as Romney's first step into Government was 2003 (as a Governor)

So...I think Romney should step down while he's ahead of himself . (*trolls*)

Come on. It's a popularity contest anyone can run.

Well sorry I could not correct the error so the If lacked a f. If you could not figure out what it said, I feel for you. It was not about any particular person. It was about Politicians in general. Flip flopping is a political issue. Changing ones mind based on the facts, instead of political expediency is all that flip flopping is, and all politicians do it out of weakness.

It may well be a popularity contest. And that is your problem. In my way of thinking none of our elected officials should be elected based on their likability. Many people liked Hitler, Stalin, and Mao.and look what happened to them.

That's basically my point as well. Though I usually see this line of questioning being directed at Romney. =p

I also completely agree with your latter point. Though I do feel a good debater is part and parcel of being a good leader. However I'm not sure how you make it less of a popularity contest without...I dunno having an exam board award grades >_> Maybe the people could vote on topics rather than people and then once all the votes have been decided an independent picks the one who ticks the most boxes. In an open and transparent way that is.

If the media did their job as honest journalists, and asked honest questions that have meaning and substance about the issues that the country faces, instead of all the side issue, used to divert the voters attention to anything but the candidates records, it would help immensely.

Our Free Press, was designed to have the media, no mater what their form be the forth element of government, to inform the people what the government is doing. Not to cheer lead for one or the other. That is why Journalism as we knew it ended in 2008 and started way before that to decline.

But that goes hand in hand with the left being the party of Social Engineering, and they could care less what the Constitution says, and the right is so spineless, that all they can do is go along to get along. As long as we continue to have all the old school Republicans and Democrats playing the political game. We will continue to have the dishonesty from our government, and continue down the road to Tyranny
and the Socialist to Communist countries of Europe and Asia, and even to the Islamic Caliphates of the Middle East.

I still think that people who are interested in the countries future, voted on information about the individual merits and records of those running and not their popularity. But I know that way...

But I know that way to many vote out of emotion, instead of what is best for the country. And one can't do that unless they take the time to become informed of what the real issues are, and how they need to be addressed. This country is still exceptional, and should remain so, but its stepping back, more than its moving forward because of the socialist deadwood in out government. and that is from both parties. The benefits of conservatism far outweighs the social engineering. If we only accepted that. We can not remain free, if we are paying every-bodies way through our taxes. That is a given. Sooner or later you run out of tax payers, willing to be raped by their government.

Some people vote party lines. Some people just follow blindly. Some people do not educate themselves on the issues. Then some people are just too stupid to vote, period....

Because he is a Democrat. And they don't admit to anything, even if its plane as the noses on their faces. But there are many Republicans that could stand ten or twenty years in jail, and it would not bother me.

Same reason all the others have, they are power hungry, and unethical to the bone. Their pea brained egos won't let them be honest and ethical, I won't comment on their morals, as I don't keep track of theirs like they want to keep track of ours.
