Ron Paul is my choice and if people want to see this country remain the United States and a Representative Republic with Democratic leanings where the Constitution is the law of the land then they had better think about voting for Ron Paul. By the way, Ron Paul is a Republican and we are "NOT" a Democracy!

Yeap...and I'm there...and I'm also contacting all those delegates that NEWT won..RIck won...Michelle won....I'm telling you ....Mitt is going to see a different side of RNC because he's not going to be protected by the Media...FOX and CNN and MSNBC....haha....He'll have to stand up and tell the Republican party ....HOW and WHY they need him....and we all know he doesn't have a clue of how to say that...haha

Not really worried about the Establishment.....We're making our own...it's called " People Who Demand Answers"....and Dr. Paul is the ONLY one who gives them.....not excuses....Romney and Obama want to blame each other.....while Dr. Paul will accept it...and make changes....that's what we need in the office..!!

Ron Paul getting the Republican nomination. (Though at this point, it doesn't look like it is going to happen.)

We'll see...Ron Paul might be running against Johnson .....and really you have to look at it this way....he's bringing a slew of DEMs and REPs to the libertarian idea of small govt and statehood and believe in the constitution......I'm going to for Ron Paul either way....but good luck Greg.,..We'll see pretty soon..!!

I would hope that Paul will stick to his word that he won't run third party or independent.
  • Mike Greg 2012/08/12 19:15:44
    Mike
Never said that.....when asked if he would run independent....he always said...he's running as republican now.....that was what we were taught to say in our campaign training.......there's a reason for it..!...just saying if RNC plays nicely and doesn't try to corrupt votes like they have been so far....I don't think you will have to worry...but from what I have seen in Mass...and Maine....and Oregon....RNC doesn't' play nicely....
  • Greg Mike 2012/08/12 19:29:10

But by the time I posted that, Romney had all but officially gotten the nomination. At this date, with the information we have available, save some last minute miracle, Paul is not the nominee. I wish he were and I'd vote for him, but he's not.

actually Romney messed up with the GOP...(not RNC) ...with his statement about Romneycare....this has caused MANY to think twice about their votes....I know...i have been talking with delegates....I'm not lobbying.....I just bring things to their attention....your right we'll see...it's not going to be pretty in Tampa I'm afraid...not violent...but with words of power....

I wrote, he's a SOCIALIST, I don't need anyone to convince me, I'm perfectly able to gather information on my own, and how you missed this is a complete puzzle to me... Mitt Romney's individual mandate in Massachusetts, there are people who would believe him when he says there is some sort of difference between the mandate on the state level vs. a mandate on the federal level.
Here's the difference: Romney socialized medicine on the state level. Obama socialized it on the federal level.
That's a difference of geography, not philosophy. The idea that Citizen A must be charged a fee to provide health care for Citizen B is socialistic, period.
Romney “is following Democrats down the class-warfare rabbit hole” with an economic plan based on “Obama neo-socialist class rhetoric.” Recall, again, that Romney’s plan extends all the Bush tax cuts and then piles another tax cut that would substantially tilt toward the wealthy on top. The simple fact that he’s attempting to sell it as a measure for the middle class.

You really have not done your homework....you do know that their were 5 seats in the house claimed by the libertarians.....and that your idea of the 3rd party goes as far as Ralph Nader and Perot i'm sure.....WAKE up..!!!....Do your homework....Why don't you LOOK up your information....instead of letting the media....who by the way control the way most AMERICA thinks....Right or Left....it matters not......and no I don't think Romney is a Communist....I think his ideas are no better then Obama ......cause the only idea I have seen him issue out is the WAR issues.....he has no other plans...

Isolationist? That's very old and tired... and long ago clarified for those who failed to understand the difference between Isolationism... and Non-Interventionism. Huge difference if it matters to you, which I'm guessing it doesn't.

    Nice try!

If it is... Flip Romney vs Flop Obama... we all lose! Look for our 16 trillion dollars in debt, to rapidly escalate to over 20 trillion dollars in debt.

Neither of these guys speak of making the draconian cuts in Big government, central planning, which is the agenda of the two-party system.

Even the CBO estimates a 300% increase in debt, whether Obama or Romney were elected. A figure Ron Paul says they will hit in a third of that time, and his record on predictions is formidable.

Anyway, don't worry about all that fiscal stuff, and following what the founders advised us in world affairs... I'm sure 4 more years of Obama, because you support a weak and oily candidate, won't make much of a difference.

Me, I'll continue to invest and profit, in foreign currencies against our debased US dollar. Both Obama and Romney are behind the Federal Reserve, so further devaluation is a safe bet.

I win, either way. We all win if Ron Paul, is nominated by ANY party. I would prefer that.

You are incorrect in your assumptions, for Ron Paul. Please, do some personal research and learn the truth. Then maybe you can offer a cohesive argument for your inaccurate claims. Clearly, you cannot!

From your response, it is clear you are a Prohibitionist and a warmongering "Muslim under the bed" propagandist.

So how do you plan on paying for your agenda? Other than in sacrificed American lives over commodity wars, benefiting the profiteers.

What part of personal liberty with personal responsibility do you fear most?

It's the uneducated, misinformed and ill-informed, like yourself, that are spreading the propaganda that has made us the largest debtor nation in the world, with 16 trillion dollars in debt... and climbing!

Let me guess... your buzzed on "tax and controlled" alcohol, which kills 80,000 people a year, and smoking "tax and controlled" tobacco, which kills nearly 500,000 people a year. And you want to spend billions more on the failed drug war, which has created the drug cartels doing the real killiong... and trillions in more wars, because you guzzle the military-industrial complex Kool-Aid, which has you shaking in fear!

Seriously, you need to be curbed!
