I am surprised many more have not.

The secrets of this administration are huge. Wonder if the true identity of this Barry Soweto will ever be known. The arrogance shown by ignoring this question is indicative of Obama and his handlers.
That he is pure communist we already know.
Obama or Romney. Dear Lord save us all.
And they always end up regretting their failure.
Like him.
But no one tells soldiers about an illegal order giver. Does the fact that a commander has been formally appointed, and the government seems fine with it, negate an individual soldier's ability to question or challenge that commander's authority?
Many servicemen who doubt CiC Obama's right to command have already ended their service honorably.
I applaud LTC Lakin for making such a sacrifice on principles, but I do not feel sorry for him. He's an educated man and knew what he was risking when he made his choices. He won't be the last of his kind.
He will be in demand as a paid public speaker and is still a skilled doctor, so his economic survival is not in doubt here.
I thank him for taking a stand, and I wish him all the best
Classes on the same ,The Geneva Conventions And UCMJ all of which discuss legal versus illegal orders. They are told to report illegal orders to the Inspector General.
I do hope that if Romney is elected one of his first acts will be to Pardon Terry Lakin AND to restore his rank and pension.
I retired as an E-7 and have since graduated with Bachelor's and a Master's Degree. Maybe I could go back in as a Lt Col of Engineers?
