I keep up with it because it is part of the duty of a citizen. The US government is supposed to be run by "We the People." If we fail to do our part, it is our own fault that things get worse. I will not be part of that fault. I would rather not have to deal with it, but it will not go away just because I ignore it.

I know way too much, I'm to the point it really bothers me!!!

I just wished our politicians cared as much as me!!!!
Both sides are evil and greedy!!! Why can't they work for making America better...end of story, No more law breaking illegals and lazy people getting rewarded...look out for our citizens!! DAMN THEM...all they want is power and money!!!
Obama is the worst President I have ever seen!!! Call him Mr. Divider!!!!

I'm sick of it myself. They have completely forgotten they are public servants, placed in office by the people of this country to work in our best interest. They are here to serve us, not the other way around.

exactly, yet nothing changes....I mean really tea parties...instead of the media making fun of them...why did they not say...what is wrong with this picture? shouldn't Americans be happy? Why are so many unhappy...maybe its time Washington paid attention to the people and do what they want!!! But oh no the liberal media want hate and divide in this country, their way or no way!!! I'm so sick of that attitude I could scream!!!!

I agree with you completely. There are so many miserable people around nowadays. I grew up in a time when it was important to be happy and we were encouraged to live good lives. There is so much hate in the media and in the government. It makes me sick.

How can anyone admire that nasty fleabag? She taken women back at least 100 years. I can't stand seeing how needy liberal women are. There is nothing strong or independent about them.

    1. Hillary Clinton IS NOT a "nasty fleabag." She is in fact the most significant American woman politician in America's history.
    2. Most intelligent women admire her intelligence, skills, abilities, experience, perserverance, and patriotism.
    3. Hillary Clinton has balls of steel and she is indeed of independent mind.

Im very interested in politics, but it does depress me from time to time, I just cant understand where some people get their thinking from. Ready to trim their liberties in the name of safety.
It leaves me speechless sometimes. I guess Im interested in all levels, I get some satisfaction debating locally too,
If you notice a lousy candidate at the local level its best to vote him out before he climbs up the political ladder. Ive seen some local governments do some pretty ridiculous things to a small town.

We have to be on top of them all the time and know what they are doing. I agree with you, there is a lot of stupidity at the local level. It's important to nip them in the bud before they get out of control.

I watch it because it has so much to do with people, but I consider it a contrived mechanism to keep people ignoring the real controlling factors in this world. Money, for profit at our expense.

We need to recognize that now is not the time of Leisure, but the time of Seriousness, and politics is a serious game.

We are faced with a new Dark-Ages if we do not soon come to understand, appreciate, and accept the ideologies that brought us out of Animalism.

Turning your back on Politics, is like letting the Fox in the Hen House...

We are the Voice of the People and We, impact our own lives, at all levels of Gov't both State and Federal by not getting involved...

It is our duty to become involved, for our own survival....

I definitely remember that day very well...
he was the Only DEM I have ever voted for...
JFK, by his words and actions with Cuba, made me become interested in Politics...
Even though the Bay of Pigs was a Disaster, he stood up and took the Hit, like a MAN and a Leader.....Unlike Our Present Imposter, who lays blame on others....
The Bay of Pigs was a total Cluster F**K, by the CIA who cancelled the Air support for the Invasion...

Everyone has a choice: 1) follow politics and live as a sentient human being, or; 2) wallow in ignorance like a subjugated animal and forfeit the title "human being".
"It is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied."
    -John Stuart Mill
