What would you think if they government decided you were earning to much and decided to place a limit on how much you can earn? Let's say, for example, no more than $75,000 per couple (including domestic partnership agreements) and $35,000 per single person.

+2Agreed. if they quit taxing us up the wah-hoo, we'd all have more money in our own pockets.reply - ☆ c61☆ 2012/04/28 01:42:08Other+2It already limits those on social security.reply

- johnnyg 2012/04/05 16:47:42Other+1The govt. does limit your income. Taxes, fees, regulations, and nonstop printing of money limits your income.reply

- Little Tina 2012/04/04 05:13:27No, I Want the Freedom to Earn as Much as I Can+2The fact that we can make as much as we can in this country is why many come here. We are free to accomplish great things here if we work hard. So many are relying on the government to survive these days. We need to get back to a freer America. We need to get back to our roots.reply

+2The ones who are complaining about the rich being too rich are the ones who are too lazy to get off their behinds and do something for themselves. As long as they aren't willing to work hard and better themselves, they will never be successful.reply - Al C. Leasher... 2012/04/05 09:49:13

+2They give it with one hand and take it away with the other. There was no raise for SS for 3 years but once they finally get around to giving a raise, they take up most of it by hiking up medicare.reply - SoCalEx... Leasher... 2012/04/05 02:26:09
+1Wiped me out of any income, after medicare I'm left with $82.00. Of that I must spend 41.00 on my blood pressure meds. Good thing most of my kids still live at home or I'd be hungry. :-)reply - Mark 2012/04/04 03:20:24Other+1It wouldn't matter to me, since I don't make near that much, and I am not on any government assistance, either.reply

+2Like the Sheriff of Bloody Nottingham.reply - JT For Political Reform 2012/04/04 02:01:58No, I Want the Freedom to Earn as Much as I Can+3They're doing that now. People who are on Social Security can only earn so much extra until after 66 1/2. If I were in business and they limited my income, I would move to another country. We were the greatest country in the world, could build anything anywhere and now we can't even balance the books.reply
