How To Prove Oprah Winfrey Is A Racist... Black Couple Has a White Child.

Related Topics: Terrorist, Obama, Intellectual, NAACP

The following story relates how a black couple gave birth to a white child with blue eyes and blond curly hair http://bodyodd.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2010/07/20/4715095-white-b...

The issue involving Miss Winfrey is that for decades, she and people like her have taught the belief that all white people are born racist and privileged because they are white and that black people can't be racists because only the majority population can be racist. But contradicting herself, she also addresses how every other race on the face of the planet are racist towards blacks but that blacks cannot be racist towards them either which is pure ignorance... and isn't ignorance of this nature a cornerstone for defining racism?

Still not enough? Consider this. White supremists teach that in being white, they are born privileged because of the color of their skin and isn't that exactly what Oprah is preaching? They teach that even a white man living in a dumspter is better than a wealthy black man living in a penthouse suite... and ironically enough, Oprah preaches the exact same message only in her case, she's doing it to exploit how blacks feel like victims while white supremists do it trying to teach that they are superior to blacks... and yet, it's the same damned message interpreted differently but used to manipulate people for essentially the same reason... promoting racial division and racial hatred. Strange that no one's figured this out isn't it?

Now we have a case where a black couple has given birth to a white, blond haired blue eyed baby which according to Miss Winfrey was automatically born more privileged than his parents just by being born white and to white racists, he would also be viewed as being privileged because he was born white. There is no knowledge of interracial relationships in the family history , but if there is it would likely be in the distant past and possibly carried in the genes of both parents.

Now some of you will say I'm being harsh about Oprah Winfrey or even unfair. However, it's time we put this nonsense by ignorant people like Miss Winfrey on the table and if the sheet fits... she should wear it.

People like Oprah Winfrey have preached their message of hate, ignorance and bigotry for decades until creating a climate where we finally have our first black President elected by a majority white voting base who would not have won had he not pulled the votes of Conservative Democrats, Independents and Republican swing voters furious with their political party. And yet throughout his bid to be President and after winning the presidency, President Barack Obama's Liberal and Socialist supporters have done nothing but attack not just Conservative Republicans, but Conservative Democrats, Independents and anyone who dares criticize or condemn Obama (including other Liberals) like they would any other candidate is branded a racist. Yet when confronted, most of these people back down admitting the same would be said if the President were white. The Tea Party is attacked as racist even though almost everyone in intellectual circles and civil rights groups are trying to tell us that only a fringe element are racists. Time and again the political left who hate the Tea Party jumped to conclusions such as when Joe Stack flew his plane into an Austin Texas building, death threats were made against Nancy Pelosi and a car bomber is stopped in New York... in each case, these were either Liberal Democrats or actual Arab extremists but those who hate the Tea Party immediately assumed these were right wing terrorist extremists. A Kentucky census worker is found dead in a cemetery and again, it must be the political right they said... then we learn that the facts either pointed to leftwing drug dealers or he killed himself which the latter proved true.

Then you have the Southern Poverty Law Center putting out stories about a rise in rightwing political extremism presenting 75 cases which were unrelated, some never happened, others no one knows what the motivation was and in at least two proven cases... the so called rightwing extremists were actually leftwing extremists. The crime list went all the way back to the Oklahoma City Bombing committed by Timothy McVeigh and for all that time, they could only come up with 75 cases of which a great number didn't happen, no one knows the motivation or were committed by leftwingers... that's called grasping at straws and it's called lying! Then the SPLC starts running stories claiming that these rightwing militia's sprang up "after" Obama was elected and were motivated by racism. Then they began telling us there was a 3000% increase in militia activity which even many on the political left found incredible because they weren't hearing anything about these groups nor seeing them which such an increase should have created a more tangible presence nobody was seeing. Then a militia group gets busted in Michigan and people on the political left are going AHA! Only, it was then revealed that this group formed well before we knew Obama would be President and further investigation found that most of the militia's formed either before the election even began, during the election before we knew Obama would even be nominated by the Democrats or soon after he won but almost none of them were preaching a message of racism against Obama... they were instead attacking the entire federal government as they had done under Bush sr long before the election that removed him from office. You have noticed that since these revelations that the SPLC somewhat fell off the face of the Earth and we've barely heard a peep from them since right? Now you know why... they got busted making up and falsifying the information they were providing.

The Tea Party is now the focus of accusations of racism and yet, once again, almost all intellectual centers and civil rights groups are trying to tell us that it's only a fringe element at best that may be racist and groups like the NAACP are guilty of the same thing. In fact, all these false accusations of racism are what transformed the Tea Party from a few local meetings into a massive political movement. Likewise, falsely accusing the political right of racism vastly increased support for them and blew up in the face of Democrats even as they fell against one another and began accusing one another of racism.

In the case of Shirley Sherrod, we see the political left at first buying the story like anyone else to the point Sherrod was fired and few people were defending her. But among those who were defending Sherrod were also people like Glenn Beck who tried to tell people to wait and not pass judgment because we may not know all the facts in this case. We know, however, that Miss Sherrod resigned which struck even many Liberals at first as strange if she were innocent because it was clear Sherrod was a fighter and yet apparently didn't put up a fight at all or even tell the Obama Administration that the vidclip was taken out of context... almost as if she knows there's more out there that could be used against her that's more recent and she knew someone would dig it up. This is speculation on my part but the fact remains that the President of the NAACP condemned her, the White House fired her and it was only when the full video came out that the political left felt that Sherrod was innocent and went on the attack only blaming the political right rather than condemning the NAACP and the White House with equal condemnation for not investigating further when everyone had to know there was a longer video from which the vidclip was taken. And yet, it's the Republicans who are haters and hypocrites!!???

The point of this rant is to address how people like Oprah Winfrey have reversed racism in this country to where just by being black makes you a victim and unprivileged and by being born white you are automatically privileged... the same identical belief taught by white supremists which we define as racism and yet when Oprah does it, it's not???

So what happens when a black couple gives birth to a white child and by Oprahs racist ideological beliefs... we have no choice but to see the child as being born privileged and superior to his parents because of it??!!

I say that's bullshit and people need to stop looking the other way/ Oprah Winfrey and others like her teaching this racist garbage need to be called on it and put down like a rabid dog because like all racists... that's what they are. The thing I have always found funny about Oprah is how she always questions how white people didn't know that they were racists in the 60's... an even more important question now might be to ask her how it is she doesn't know that she and people like her are also racists.

We are in this country together for the long haul and for almost two centuries of talk about race war, it has yet to happen and doesn't look like it ever will.

Miss Sherrod brought up another point about racism that I feel is even more important. Under the Democrats of the 1960's, white men victimized and even killed black people which at the time was more common than black on black crime and violence. But since the Liberals ascended to dominance within the Democratic Party, the violence against blacks has grown far far worse and the only difference is that instead of white people victimizing them... almost all of it is black on black crime.

Something most people miss when they talk about racism is what hate is. Hate isn't a political movement and you could have a room full of people who hate another race... and yet only one out of a thousand might ever commit an act of violence or wrongdoing against the group they profess to hate... and if they do, often it was like during segregation where if white owned businesses didn't do what the KKK told them, they could be burned to the ground or their owners might even be killed. But at the heart of hate, the worst form of hate which is always being addressed by civil rights groups is the desire to see harm befall black Americans in regard to black and white race relations. These haters do not care if it's a white person harming black people, black people harming black people or little green men from Mars harming black people... and if they can get black people to harm their own worse than they ever did, then more's the better.

In an ironic twist of fate, modern white supremacy may have taken on a new form where pretending to represent black civil rights while allowing all the problems in the black community to worsen... white racists have in fact convinced black Americans that they are their friends and trying to help them when the truth is quite the opposite. One need only look at the disproportionate percentage of crime committed by black Americans in this country and then examine that most of this crime and violence is directed at other black people to realise that even if you disagree with me, that the abuses and violence befalling black Americans today at the hands of other black Americans is just as bad or worse than it was with the KKK in control of the Democratic Party.

I honestly would like to see Oprah address this white child born to a black couple... because she would either have to contradict everything she's ever said about racism or tell these parents that their child is a born racist and more privileged because of it than they will ever be.

Oprah loves one color and it is not black, white or brown but green! That green keeps her in business and she likes green from all races.

I don't bow at the throne of Queen O but to be fair her favorite color is green not white or black.

So then, if you teach the belief that only whites can be racists, that all whites are racists but that blacks can't be racists as Oprah has done now for over 25 years... that wouldn't be racist right?

Racism is an individual matter as while raised in a racist environment, you can reject racist sentiment to become a fighter against racism. Many whites did, many whites died as a result and to this day no one speaks of these white people who died and suffered for civil rights.

Oprahs flawed beliefs that only whites could be racists is itself a stereotype based on race and that makes her well stated views racist. Her views that blacks couldn't be racists is no different than members of the KKK defending themselves saying they aren't racists when just being a member of the KKK reveals that they are and knowingly so.

You point out in this post and the others how Oprah only sees green and makes whites rich. Oprah hires people she see's will make her more money... that has nothing to do with her racial views anymore than white South Africans choosing black economic advisors and diplomats to work for them in South Africa under Apartheid... if it made them and their country rich, so be it but it had nothing to do with who was in power only that it financially helped South Africa prosper.

    ...

Her stated views on race are themselves based on racial stereotypes where she states only whites can be racist because only a majority population can be racist... then trips herself up addressing how other races are also racist towards blacks but again, blacks can't be racist towards them either when by her own definition, as the second largest majority population, this means blacks are automatically and inherently racist towards all other groups except whites... again, she set forth the definition out of ignorance creating the labels and then contradicting herself.

Saying she hires mostly whites because it helps increase her financial fortunes has absolutely nothing to do with her views on race except to point out she's a greedy individual so self centered on her wealth and power that she would hire whites to work for her. A second point to make is that many of these people themselves earn less than they would working for someone else and have complained in the past because of Oprahs racist remarks about having "all these white folk working for me"... and that's just one well documented statement she got caught making on video, there are many other such statements even her black associates claim she has made towards whites.

So it may not be true at all that she's made these white people wealthy but that she's on a power trip hiring whites to work for her because it puts her in the role of being the one in power and they all have to do what she tells them to do.

    In Reply to chaoski,
When did I say only whites can be racist?
I understand that Racism comes in all colors and Oprah has said as much.
I never heard Oprah say whites can't be racist either!!

You have put words in my mouth that I did not say. I merely stated the facts on the majority of products, books and people Oprah promoted and hired (employees) have been white, as well as the people she surrounds herself with. Oprah talked about her own experiences growing up black and poor in the 50's as a little colored girl, what makes you think she lied?
I lived in the South in that era and I can vouch for everything she said about her experiences at that time.
A history lesson on Jim Crow and segregation may help understand Oprah did not lie about her early childhood experiences. The truth may hurt but it is still the truth. Deal with it cause it is what it tis! I stand by every word I said including how blacks have accused Oprah of catering and preferring whites over blacks (not saying I agree with blacks who accuse of of this either). It is not fair to speculate and put words in people's mouth to make a point.

Where did I say YOU said that? I said that her experiences as a little girl were no different than the majority of white children and that, in fact, her mother and grandmother working as maids was better than the lot of most people in the South at this time.

What do you know about the South at that time Anonymous? Prior to the US Civil War, the majority of whites in the South were poor and little more than dirt farmers who were lucky to get a new pair of shoes once in a while let alone own a slave which is how most people in the South are painted... as slave owners. Because of that, there's an untrue belief that all whites in the South were wealthy when at the onset of the war, one of the Souths greatest problems was bare necessities like getting shoes for soldiers who had none let alone worrying about uniforms because the men wore what they had. Until the 1960's, the majority of whites lived in poverty across the South and no, they did not all support segregation or belong to the KKK... they lived in fear of them because numerous homes were burned to the ground, people whipped, people just disappeared or were found dead who did not support segregation or at least keep their mouths shut... that story is out there for all to know as it's recorded history even at the national level in the Library of Congress but it's kept out of our school textbooks beyond a hint now and then why segregation was allowed.

So Oprahs own story about race actually is no different than the stories of white people and it certainly pales in comparison to black Americans who suffered true racism with the lynchings, the whippings and so forth... like everything else, it's about the green as she uses her story to make people empathetic with her and because she's from Mississippi at the right time... it works as you illustrate because you bought into her stories. They aren't lies... they are exploitive of the cause of civil rights and plight of blacks because she did not go through anything any worse than most whites at this time and was actually better off than many because at least they had a decent income at a time where black and white children were still working in the fields paid as little as a nickle a day.

I know this because my own mother worked in the fields along with her siblings and there are countless photo's of children across the South from this time period wearing their overalls and torn clothes because there was no money to buy them anything decent when the focus was on putting food on the table to survive.

The end of segregation and introduction of welfare ended this, brought about an economic miracle across most of the South in the 70's that has continued until this very day. In fact, the governments own records indicate that black Americans are abandoning large urban cities now and many are returning to the South where there's better opportunities and many state there's even less racism than they are used to in places like NYC and many Democrat held states.

You lived in the South during that era and can vouch for everything she said... WHO SAID SHE WAS LYING???

You claim I put words in your mouth when all I did was tell you and anyone reading what Oprah's views are... I never said they were your views meaning I never put a single word in your mouth.

However, your comment out of sheer unmitigated ignorance has done nothing but state what I put in your mouth and from your false assumptions YOU put words in my mouth because claiming I said things I never stated is what Anonymous... putting words in my mouth.

Because you overreacted and didn't read what was said, you made your response irrelevant and yourself look like a fool.

Ok, you lived in the South during that era... so, then you are familiar with the fact most whites were poor and that you would see them and their children working in the fields no different than black Americans correct? Be forewarned, the US government itself acknowledges this is true as do many eyewitnesses who came to the South trying to address the plight of poor Southerners throughout the first half of the 20th century. You know about white people having their homes firebombed, about white civil rights advocates and whites who out of decency tried to help blacks being killed... you would know this because you lived here during this time correct. If you lived here during this time... where did you live as segregation was not the same from state to state as is often depicted nor was it just in the South as facts bear out with the last battles to end segregation being in the North.

You say because you lived here that you can vouch for everything Oprah said... did you experience these things personally or just watch them happen because if Oprah watched them happen she could easily claim they happened to her and because you saw it happen to others you could assume she's telling the truth... an assumption is all you would have and that would not mean Oprah is telling the truth at all.

I never called her a liar, but understand that while you imply what I actually am saying that YOU in turn have nothing but your general knowledge of what was going on at the time and assumptions that because she's black she must be telling the truth implies that YOU are making a judgment on her truthfulness based solely on her race and that Anonymous is called racism because you base your belief in her on nothing more than the color of her skin.

As I stated, whites endured great hardship as well and thousands of whites living under segregation were also killed for daring to support the cause of civil rights and simple decency trying to help other human beings different than themselves. This story is never told in our schools so that people like you place more significance on things people like Oprah tell you about their past... when what she says is no different than what millions of white people endured and she actually had it better in many ways than many white people.

Anonymous... even many black Americans have pointed out these facts that she's telling her story and embellishing on it to make her seem more black and to gain sympathy exploiting the black experience when she has never truly dealt with the worst of what the black experience had to offer and that much of what she talks about is no different than the plight white poor had to deal with. Even the name calling as poor white people were called many names like white trash that still survive and until the 1960's, white children in the South were among the worst educated children in the country because the federal government made little effort until the 60's to enforce laws about child labor and forcing children into school instead of working to provide extra money for their families.

You lived in the South during this time period so you obviously know this... my mother, her entire family and every family I know lived here then and the majority of them worked in the fields as children from that time period and most didn't get a proper education because when they were finally forced into the schools it was based on their age rather than their education level so we had thirteen year olds in 6th grade who couldn't even spell their names... and that legacy haunted the South well into the 80's which is where all these students graduating with little or no education became a focus of ridicule when the simple matter was that when the focus fell off of civil rights and aiding the South in the 70's, it was as if everything just simply ground to a halt.

But when I entered school in 1974, I didn't know black children were any different than white children with red hair and freckles... my mothers upbringing and experiences led her to never think of black people as different than whites. It wasn't until the 5th grade when our schools began teaching us about slavery, segregation and racism that we began seeing one another differently as until that point we had all gotten along as children in a new era where the KKK had been broken and people were finally free to be together and fight side by side against the remnants of racism and hate... which is why there's less hate and racism in the Southern states today than in many Northern and Western states. Yet, tell me something Anonymous... why is it that a thousand racist incidents can take place in New York with none of them being reported on a national level and yet one racist incident takes place in the South and suddenly it's a national incident and everyone's crying out there's a Klansman behind every tree and racism everywhere?

No Anonymous... even civil rights groups are waking up to the truth and are defending the South now against such hate just because of this regions past which now is more true of the states outside our region than here.

Not one word I have said here is to put words in your mouth... nothing I am saying here is to say you said anything beyond what you actually did say. It is to illustrate only that in your belief that Oprah is telling the truth that you naively and ignorantly ignore the greater truth surrounding her ":experiences" which even many black Americans are pointing out were not unique to her anymore than to many white people... and the things she does relate like her mother working as a maid, at least she was working as a maid and not in the fields picking beans and other food. There's nothing wrong with the profession of being a maid even for a black person anymore than working in the sewers or being a sanitation worker is for a white person. Any job which puts food on the table and keeps you and your family from doing without is respectable and her mother did get a job which was better than what many black people had available to them at the time.

You give the reason Oprah addresses her past yourself and you don't even realize it because YOU said she only cares about the green... and this only helps make her a more sympathetic personality. No one said she was lying... what was said is she's exploiting her past which millions of whites from that era can relate they actually had it as bad or worse and millions of blacks can attest they had it far worse so that her experience is nothing by comparison to the worst of the black experience.

What I said is the truth and nothing is speculative or putting words in your mouth... you just didn't take the time to understand what was written and the only way to deny what I said was to claim I was putting words in your mouth.

Oprah relates her life experience... I only expanded upon that experience to point out her experience was no different than millions of whites at that time meaning her life experiences did not have to be based on racism as you claim unless whites were victims of the same racism... it was clearly something else and that something else was economics.

I looked it up and what she said was all can be prejudiced but the power to negatively affect the lives of others comes from those with money and power and for centuries not many blacks had money or power.
    Example:
Historically just 50 yrs. ago blacks could not even vote in Southern states. Wish folks did not twist the words of Oprah or her meanings. Not that I'm a lover of all things Oprah but I just try to be fair minded.

Yes Oprah does have a lot of white people working under her a statement she made to her father when he advised her to keep working hard and someday she might work for an important (white) person. Oprah said, "No, someday I'll have white people working for me, and I do!" I for one am not a lemming and I don't need her pompous ass telling me what book to read, who to vote for or how to satisfy my man (which is coincidentally what she looks like).

Mel Gibson doesn't preach his message to millions of people. Look at Oprah every time she releases a new diet book and loses weight to sell it... does anyone ask if the previous diet was so good then why doesn't Oprah go back to it and prove it... or do they just buy the new diet book?

It will not directly affect you because I can tell you're a person who doesn't buy into the garbage she's selling. My point though is that millions of others do and these people can affect your life which is why white supremacy did so much damage. It was never white supremists on their own who caused the problems, but their leaders and organization which could protect them and cover for them that did the damage. In this, Oprah and people like her are doing the same.

I in no way believe black people are more violent or criminal by nature and as a white man I shouldn't care because statistics show that over 80% of all black crime is against black people and over 80% of all white crime is against white people. But everyone knows the truth if they know you hate this person rather than just dislike them because if you dislike them you may genuinely not want to see harm come to them even if you wouldn't wish for good things to happen to them either... if you hate them you're glad it happened to them.

Oprahs influence over millions of people creates the problem whereas someone like Mel Gibson doesn't have or claim to have such influence.

I understand, just as Rush Limbaugh can say anything and his faithful listeners cling to every word as the gospel truth.

I don't understand how the weak minded people that allow themselves to be easily influenced by the words and actions of others.

Yep. Both sides do this. Look at Oprahs network. It is finally finding an audience but it ironically has almost nothing to do with her... her ideas have all failed. It is because of Tyler Perry coming in with his shows. Oprah has such a huge ego that she made her network all about her and her ideas. Discovery Network banked on this when her success was based on putting her ideas into a 1 hour show in syndication where every tv station could put it on in an hour that captured the most viewers likely to watch her show... some aired it twice a day and those ratings were added together for a daily total. Because of her ego and the network being all about her, the fact she doesn't have the talent or ability to do more than a one hour show hurt the network and much of it's programming either survived from the old Discovery Health network it replaced or was purchased by Discovery Network itself to fill space Oprah still has not created programming for because nothing she seems to be doing for her network has any real vision behind it. As a manager of a network, her role is to establish leadership and to bring in the people who will create her programming. People like Tyler Perry, maybe Bill Cosby and so forth. As a manager of a network, her role is to establish leadership and to bring in the people who will create her programming. People like Tyler Perry, maybe Bill Cosby and so forth. In every way that she could fail,

Oprah has failed and she's still not listening to people that she needs to bring in more people like Tyler Perry. Even if she went with a majority black format in who she brings in, people like Perry understand how to make this work without making it seem racist. That was always Bill Cosbys success as he wasn't creating black entertainment, he was creating entertainment with black Americans portrayed as real people that we could all identify with.

Look at Donald Sterling and that conflict. He didn't actually do anything racist, he simply made some private statements which we consider racist meaning he's being punished for a failed blackmail attempt and something said in private by a woman whose very race and ethnicity proves Sterling isn't a racist... he just thinks and talks in the way most whites would have in the 1960's who weren't racists. You could even expect JFK and many others revered by the left talking like this as it wasn't what they said but what they did that created the issue... somewhere along the line, we forgot about that.

But Oprahs problem is that she has been promoting beliefs rather than just talking racist and her actions and behavior prove out that she harbors racist views.

Unlike Oprah, Rush Limbaugh may or may not be a racist as it's hard to tell because he is intentionally trying to provoke people saying things to get them angry but almost always holding back so he says just enough to provoke people into calling in... then revealing he knows more about the matter than he initially says so he can then tear the callers apart because he knows they know very little about the issue and he's intentionally using what seems to be ignorance on his part to provoke ignorance from those listening... then reveals the rest of the story to prove the callers ignorant.

It's a style used for centuries in debating which Rush uses effectively because the people listening to his show are ordinary people who aren't well versed in debating or even realize this is what he's doing.

So where Rush is hard to read because he's not actually telling us what he thinks or believes but is trying to spark controversy and manipulate people for his own success, Oprah found success being herself.

What do her endless diets have to do with her show? It created empathy for her allowing her to con her viewers into buying the diet books and plans making her hundreds of millions in profit. Rush could care less if you like him, Oprah had to have people love her to be successful. So she developed her show around her folksy personality and while it wasn't always genuine, it is in her nature like anyone to con people and became so popular she could say almost anything and get away with it where Rush, it seems, can't say anything and get away with it lol... and that's exactly how he became a success being the bad guy.

That was a stupid a..s comment. For 25yrs. Oprah has made whites very rich promoting their products and giving them shows. Blacks criticize her for catering mostly to whites and not having many blacks behind the scenes in key positions. Oprah is not a racist she sees one color and that's green.

You are correct that she see's only green but incorrect on who benefits as Oprah began changing the makeup of the people in control many years ago so she herself made sure there would be blacks who benefited as well... your view that her views made whites very rich is flawed in perspective as it wasn't just whites who benefited by a long shot.

Oprah was born in the 1950's but as many in the NAACP point out, just being born in that period does not mean that you were automatically a victim of racism just by being black because blacks were more likely to be victims because they were poor just as the majority of whites were in the 1950's.

While many point out how blacks suffered, they don't point out that white business owners suffered because they couldn't sell to blacks, that communities suffered because they had to literally double up on everything so blacks had theirs and whites had theirs such as whites only and blacks only water fountains or bathrooms. When they point out how many blacks were killed fighting for civil rights... how often do they mention the thousands of whites who lost their lives and everything they had fighting for civil rights? Answer... almost never.

When they point out how many blacks were killed fighting for civil rights... how often do they mention the thousands of whites who lost their lives and everything they had fighting for civil rights? Answer... almost never.

Then you have how Oprah Winfrey and others like her championed the cause of Martin Luther King jr being a lifelong Democrat when he was, in fact, a lifelong Republican like his entire family until a meeting with JFK convinced him to switch political parties to help convince white racist Democrats to vote for the Civil Rights Act because JFK already had the support of Republicans and it was his own damn party who opposed it.

How could Americans believe such an obvious falsehood? Because racists like Oprah Winfrey promoted it as gospel.

There were laws created to discriminate against her race... Anonymous, what happened to the legislators who created those laws? Go research it as they never left the Democratic Party.

Strom Thurmond is often used to prove the Dixiecrats switched parties. Wrong... Strom Thurmond supported Barry Goldwater for President and was excommunicated by the Dixiecrats who did everything they could to destroy his political career and block him from running for office again forcing him to become a Republican.

The Dixiecrats and racist Democrats who created and enforced these laws... never left the Democratic Party. This in turn explains why civil rights all but died in the 1970's and was rekindled only in the 1980's with blacks asking what had happened. What had happened is the leftwing Democrats accepted the apologies of the Dixiecrats and racist Democrats like Robert Byrd reunifying in the late 60's and early 70's.

The very laws you speak of, Jim Crow laws, were then revised and turned in a new direction.

Question... just to see how much you really understand about racism.

Does a white supremist care who harms a black person as long as a black person is harmed?

The answer is no... no they don't. Isn't it funny that as the Democrats reunified and civil rights faded to a backburner issue at the onset of the 70's that black on black crime began to skyrocket?

Jim Crow laws were written to benefit whites whether they had the experience needed for opportunities or not... just by being white, you got the opportunity over a black man even if he was the most experienced person for the job and you had no experience at all because you could always be trained. Affirmative Action was designed to tear down the barriers denying opportunities to blacks who were qualified and empower them to fight in the courts where it could be proven they were denied opportunities... it was not designed to favor blacks and provide opportunities based on race or population statistics as that's how Jim Crow operated. And yet, in the 1980's, this is exactly how Affirmative Action began to be utilized no different than Jim Crow. Thus, we all began to sense something wrong with this but because we couldn't quite figure out what it was, we labeled it reverse discrimination. in fact, it's discrimination but the implementation is the "reverse" of Jim Crow in that now it favors blacks who lack qualifications for opportunities and we can always give the people given opportunities they aren't qualified for training... exactly as racist Democrats used to say to justify Jim Crow.

Today, in just one year, more black Americans die at the hands of other black Americans than at the hands of whites during the entire period of segregation... yet, if you address black on black violence with concern because it's disproportionately higher than any other group, civil rights activists accuse you of racism when to express concern for what black people are doing to themselves, you can't do anything other than address it as black on black violence.

Oprah has addressed white racism and how blacks suffer from it being locked up in prison by the millions. Again, her views are racist and ignorant. About 80% of all crime and violence that happens to whites and blacks are committed by their own people. Ok, so we lock up millions of black people of which most are guilty of victimizing their own people... and this is racist? To actually convict black people for crimes they actually commit and by a huge majority against their own people is... racist? Then on the flip side, we have all these whites beating the system because the system is racist and they are more affluent... but then, upwards of 80% of their victims were themselves white??? Now tell me something here Anonymous, how do white people benefit from a system which locks up millions of blacks who victimize their own people while freeing millions of whites who victimize white people?

That's not racist... that's stupid as the system obviously works better for black Americans than white Americans if we are to accept what Oprah says.

Where you confuse yourself as to Oprahs views is to think because she hires whites to work for her more than blacks that she's not racist... hiring people who make you money has nothing to do with it. There were white racists in the past who only hired blacks to work for them, even provided them opportunities to improve themselves and the reason wasn't benevolence... the reason was they wanted to retain a sense of control and empowerment.

Look at the Southern Poverty Law Center which many on the left hold as a bastion of civil rights. How many black people have they hired in all their existence... answer, two and only briefly. People who have worked for the SPLC and who've been represented by them have accused them of operating their HQ like an old fashioned white owned slave plantation. Their views are clearly exploitive as Morris Dees, the founder of the SPLC, was an ambulance chasing charlatan before latching on to a lawsuit against the KKK that no one else would take. At various times, the SPLC has gotten more donations that the NAACP to illustrate how much money they draw in... but more astounding is how little goes out as they rarely even handle a civil rights case and haven't in many years. All they do is shout and lash out trying to blame everything on the political right. On their own website, they can't even list anything they have personally been involved with which amounts to a hill of beans in years. They exist to inflame and manipulate against one another and in the process, they leach away millions of dollars from legitimate groups like the NAACP.

Oprah isn't a racist? Provide proof as all you did was provide an overview like looking at a can of vegetables without a label on it and telling us what's inside only to find it's a can of spaghetti when you open it.

What I am saying Anonymous is you aren't wrong in regard to her views when it comes to making money as she stopped being black in that regard decades ago. But you would be addressing classism at this point because wealthy plutocrats don't care what color your skin is... they only care how green your money is and how much you have of it. But beyond that, wealth does not cover up all your personal defects and part of how Oprah makes her money is manipulating people while concealing her own views. The problem with that is if your own views are fundamentally flawed, such as a racists would be, then that's still going to come through at some point and when Oprah addresses issues of race... her personal views do come through.
