This is translation of a funny story about Obama, circulating in Eastern Europe:

At a meeting with the Queen of England, Barack Obama, asks her: "Your Majesty,
how do you create an effective government? Is there any advice you can give me?
Well, said the queen," the most important thing - surround yourself with smart people.Obama frowned, and then asked: "How do I know that people around me
really smart?
Took a sip of tea, the Queen replies: "Oh, it's easy. You just
ask them to solve the intellectual puzzle. "Queen of the presses
intercom button. Please send Tony Blair here.
Tony Blair walks into the room and said, "Yes, my queen?"
The Queen smiled and said: "Tell me, please, Tony - your
mother and father have a child. This is not your brother or your sister ...
Who is it? "Without hesitating for a moment, Tony Blair replied:" It would be I"
"Yes, very well," said the Queen.

Obama returns home and asks Joe Biden, his vice
President, the same question: "Joe, please answer this question for me.
Your mother and father have a child. This is not your brother or your sister... Who is it? "
"I'm not sure," said Biden. "Let me get back to you later on
this issue. "He goes to his advisors and asks everyone, but
no one can give him an answer. Finally, he finds himself in the men's room,
and recognizes Colin Powell's shoes in the next stall.
Biden asked Powell: "Colin, if you can solve for me
this problem? Your mother and father have a child. This is not your brother and it is not
Your sister ... Who is it? "
Colin Powell yells: "It's simple: - It's me."
Biden smiles and says, "Thank you." Then he goes back to Obama.
"So I did some research and I have a response to this
puzzle. This is - Colin Powell! "
Obama stands up, jumps up to Biden, and angrily yells into his face:
"No, you idiot! ... It's Tony Blair!"

As I expected, it didn't take long for somebody to tell me what to think.

You accuse me of speaking just for myself or my circle of friends: but what do you do? You speak for UN perhaps? As I live here and follow the newspapers, I think I am more qualified to tell you what Europeans think about certain point than you.

Which foreign papers do you read, really? Could you please give a link where somebody sane for example compared Obama unfavourably to Bush?

Of course there are people with all kinds of opinions, some people believe they were raped by space aliens, but the majority in Western Europe are just fine with Obama. Critical, not always happy because we hoped for more, but fine.
Not so with his predecessor who tried, but failed to push us into his criminal war in Iraq.

Sure. You try to tell me that you know better what is going on in Europe than I who actually live here.
How many languages do you speak? I want to know which European newspapers do you follow in order to form your opinion. Let me guess: all of them. You can probably see Europe from your porch which naturally makes you an expert. I am expecting nothing less than to see you on Romney ticket in few days. Mona Lisa with a monster smile. How appropriate.

I also have friends and family around the world (on all continents but Africa). Moreover - I've been overseas for a year myself - so I see for myself how miserable Obama looks in the eyes of smart people. "Too good" is a funny phrase, well, never mind.

As for the joke origination - it is just about any stupid Administration, which Obama's circle (should I say "circus"?) is most representative of. And that is why it is embraces overseas as pertaining to Obama and his Joe The Stupid.

Sure. You need a guy who buys a company, guts it, sells its pieces to the highest bidder, ditches the people that worked there for tens of years on the street and shares the profit with his friends. And then sends his money on a vacation to Canary islands so that annoying taxes business could be ignored.

Perhaps you shouldn't have voted for a guy that has spent all the Clinton surplus, gave loads of money to his rich friends and started two wars that cost not just an arm and a leg, but many heads and hearts as well.

Perhaps you should also realize that the depth of the problem was only surpassed by the Great Depression and it is impossible to fix it in a short period. The banks have wiped out the middle class and left them pennyless. Money that should have been spent and circulating in the economy is now parked in the bank accounts of the few supper rich.
When you say that the economy is doing bad, you are actually not correct. The corporations are doing great. They are amassing record profits on their accounts. It has never been better for them. But their republican friends ensured that they don't invest in the USA in order to bring Obama down. As Rush stated, their objective is for Obama to fail. And Average Joe is the collateral damage.

First thing 9/11 didn't happen and this was the cause of war. Corporations do have record profits but a small thing, most of the money was made outside the United States. The housing bubble was caused by the Community Investment Act and the Clinton regime. The FHA said these loans were junk but ordered to take them. Changes to the law were blocked in the Senate by the dems. The problem is very simple wealth has to be generated not consumed and this is where you have it wrong. You are in Europe then look at Greece, Ireland,Italy, Spain and Portugal. Wonderful socialist regimes where no one works.

There was 2 times in Clinton's presidency where the CIA had Laden in their crosshairs and Clinton would NOT sign the authorization. This was after the embassies being blown up and the Cole incident. Tennent reported that in public hearings in the Senate. Laden was a moneyman not a tactician. If Clinton had done what he was suppose to then 9/11 wouldn't had probably happened.

Wow, if it isn't Mr. Goebels himself, spewing poison.

In August 1998, President Clinton ordered missile strikes against targets in Afghanistan in an effort to hit Osama bin Laden, who had been linked to the embassy bombings in Africa (and was later connected to the attack on the USS Cole). The missiles reportedly missed bin Laden by a few hours, and Clinton was widely criticized by many who claimed he had ordered the strikes primarily to draw attention away from the Monica Lewinsky scandal. As John F. Harris wrote in The Washington Post:

After the effort to kill bin Laden with missiles in August 1998 failed — he had apparently left a training camp in Afghanistan a few hours earlier — recent news reports have detailed numerous other instances, as late as December 2000, when Clinton was on the verge of unleashing the military again. In each case, the White House chose not to act because of uncertainty that intelligence was good enough to find bin Laden, and concern that a failed attack would only enhance his stature in the Arab world.

Dave Weldon, R-Palm Bay, publicly questioned Clinton’s motives in launching the attacks so soon after his public admission of a sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky. … ‘The president has, indeed, broken the trust of the American people, and these are legitimate questions that must be answered.’” [Orlando Sentinel, 8/21/98]

    Former Rep. Bob Barr (R-GA):

“All I’m saying is if factors other than good intelligence, military necessity, being prepared for the consequences entered into it, then it is wrong, and it appears that one of those factors that may have entered into it is to take something that could have been done a week ago and do it today in an effort to divert some attention.” [Fox News, 8/20/98]

Ordering a missile strike is one thing but not signing the authorization for the Intelligence Community to conduct an assassination is another. The CIA does not kill people on a whim, they must be ordered and the authorization must be given in writing, otherwise the operatives could be charged with murder in the U.S.. Next the Clinton regime had an attitude of using criminal procedures as they had Federal Indictments against him. Quite similar to the stuff Obama tried as we will give trials in New York City but it doesn't work as Obama found out. When the head of the CIA ,who was appointed by Clinton , testifies under oath his operatives had Bin Laden twice in their crosshairs but Clinton wouldn't sign the authorization or finding to do it. All the noise in the world could be made about this or that but Clinton still failed at his duties.

Clinton was OBSESSED with OBL. He tried and tried to kill him and your republican friends were criticizing him all the time for concentrating so much on OBL. And now you dare to say that Clinton wouldn't act on him. Shame on you.
And of course, no mentioning of the fact that W. stated several times and quite fast after 9/11 that he doesn't care if OBL lives or dies and that he is not searching for him anymore. If that is not disturbing, nothing is.
