If Georgia’s Secretary of State says Obama is off the ballot, it will
set in motion a scary domino effect that will devastate down ballot
Democrats.







It’s doubtful that the media will explain what is likely to happen if
there is a blank space at the top of the Democrat slate in Georgia next
November, but here’s a likely scenario.


The results the latest IBD/TIPP survey hold nothing but bad news for Obama and his Democrats. Almost 2 /3 of the respondents agreed that we are preparing for the most important election since 1860. Even in the
of hard evidence, can there be any doubt that those who are
disinterested and feel no sense of urgency about this election probably
have very little connection to our America except as a place to demand
from to pay for their America?


“Voter Interest” in this election can rightly be used interchangeably
with “voter intensity”, which in turn translates to “voter enthusiasm”
to vote.


Last March, Republican enthusiasm was 5 points higher than Democrat
enthusiasm, but that difference had grown to a 21 point edge in an
October CNN survey.


CNN found that 64% of Republicans are either extremely or very
enthusiastic about voting in November which was up 3 points from June.
Democrats by contrast had just a 43% enthusiasm level as they looked
forward to voting in November.


These kinds of numbers are the stuff of titanic defeats for Democrats.


A 2010 enthusiasm edge of 19 points at 63/44 for Republicans gave them pickups of 680 state level legislative seats and 64 Congressional seats.


Today’s IBD/TIPP survey shows that Republicans are 26 points more
enthusiastic than Democrats with no telling how far the gap will grow.
Clearly getting rank and file Democrats out to vote for Barack Obama or
anyone other Democrat will be an uphill battle.


Very dangerous territory for Democrats


A December Gallup mega survey of 5000 voters
in 12 swing states revealed non-white enthusiasm was 32%. Compared to
2008 when 65% of blacks voted 97% for Obama, this is a stunning
number.


If black enthusiasm to vote is already less than half 2008 levels,
one has to wonder how many blacks will turn out to vote for ANY
Democrat without Obama at the top of their ticket.


If the Obama Citizenship cases in other states are successful, it
will be a disaster for down ballot Democrats like never before.

    This is nonsense, if you don't like the president vote him out at the ballot box, this is just a sign of desperation due to the weak field of GOP presidential candidates and an improving economy. Hasn't there already been around 100 other legal challenges that have been dismissed, denied or flat out rejected? If you truly believe that this nonsense will keep the president from getting on the ballot you need to double up on your meds. Georgia birther political cartoons

    Though the term "natural-born citizen" was left undefined by the Framers of the Constitution, it was broadly understood in English common law at the time as referring to one who possesses citizenship by virtue of the circumstances of their birth, which is still the general meaning of the phrase as it's used today.

    In the United States there are two established legal principles upon which individuals are said to acquire citizenship at birth: jus sanguinus ("right of blood"), meaning citizenship conferred by being born to parents who are U.S. citizens, and jus soli ("right of soil"), meaning citizenship conferred by being born on U.S. soil.     It doesn't even help your case considering There have been 97 lawsuits filed in state and federal courts over President Obama's eligibility, and they all have been dismissed, rejected or denied.

    Even if the improbable worst case scenario happened, and Obama's name were kept off the Georgia ballot, the Dem. party could put someone else's name on the ballot as a "stand in". Then, if the Dem. party won Georgia and its Electors, those Electors could vote for Obama.
    Besides, Obama is NOT likely to win Georgia in any scenario.

    I was right! The truth is out! The GOP knows they will lose in November. They know they don’t have ANYONE who can beat President Obama. They know that their candidates are a base of clowns, idiots, and bat-spit insane people. They know he's gonna win a second term.
    So they resort to this. Claiming this is about the Constitution when they know damn well this is about race. Nothing more, Nothing less.

    This is one of those Liberal BS postings that has warnings posted all over the net: If you see this post "..." it is wrong, here is how it goes down....

    And see the thing you forgot is Binding Precedent from Minor v. Happersett from the US Supreme Court which established:

    ..born in this country to citizen parents [is a Natural Born Citizen]


    And if you read the actual JUDGEMENT by the Supreme Court Justice, you'll also notice that the 14'th amendment was never construed (in fact it was NOTED by the Justice that it was not), only Article II, section I -- which means you can't use the Wong Kim Art case as defense because ONLY the 14'th amendment was construed in the Art case and it did not set any precedent for "Natural Born" >> BUT << it did set binding precedent for "NATIVE BORN" citizens.

    The justices are very careful at what words they used, and very clearly used "parents" not "parent", and to this day, the legal term has YET to be redefined, which means, Obama must have two citizen parents at the time of birth to be considered "Natural Born" under Article II section I.

    I just posted link to 208 pages of testimony in PDF. I find it hard to believe that anybody could say Obama was born in that Hawaii hospital once they look at the affidavits.

    But if press turns on Obama, as they should, for misleading his party, then the DNC will survive. If, however, the DNC backs Obama then the party is done for.

    At a meeting the MSM was told to stop any birther stories by the media executives. This came from the Whitehouse. They were told if they did not follow this directive it would mean their jobs or "worse" (whatever that means). This info was given by an executive secretary who sat in on one of the meetings. She gave this info to pundits who are not afraid of the truth. This is very scary stuff.

    What "freedoms" are you talking about? And I would not paint such a broad stroke about the "American public" if I were you. Remember that President Obama got MORE VOTES than ANY POLITICIAN in the HISTORY of this country by a factor of 7.5 millions votes, or by 12%. And IF the majority of the American people were that desperate to get rid of President Obama, then President Obama would have an approval rating in the mid thirties, NOT an average 46.5%. Even the right leaning Rasmussen Reports last poll of 1-29 to 1-31 has President Obama's approval at 49%, and disapproval at 49%. That number is UP from the 9-29 to 10-1 poll of Obama's approval at 45% and disapproval at 54%.

As a matter of fact, their assessment has Obama with 229 electoral votes to Romney's (Republican) 191, with 118 in the gray area or toss up swing states.

    Notice that two of those swing states are Ohio and Wisconsin, together having 28 electoral votes, and with the recent actions by Governor Kasich in his union busting legislation attempt in November that was overturned by 61% of the voters, and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's union busting and impending recall election this summer with over a million petition signatures, those two states are highly likely going to Obama as well, for a sure total of 257, or just 13 more needed for the election, and he can win that with just Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes.

    BTW, the last Gallup poll before the 2008 election had Obama winning by 11%, or they were 3.7% off and outside their margin of error of 2%, while RealClearPolitics average had Obama winning by 7.6%, or 0.3% off.

    WTF is wrong with you? Obama lost Georgia in '08 and still got more votes than any politician in the history of this country by 12%. He won the election with 28 states and DC, and did it with 365 electoral votes, which was 95 more than he needed to win.

    If you're talking about the 229 electoral votes projection for Obama, they have been reduced to 217, but they were 229 when I made the post.

    BTW, back to the subject of this thread, Judge Malihi just DISMISSED all the charges made in the frivolous lawsuit by Orly Taitz in Georgia.

    Technically, they can't. Electors have only one constraint, they have to vote for somebody who meets the requirements. If GA rules Obama doesn't, then the electors can't. Interesting that GA is one of the states where electors don't have to vote for the winner of the popular vote.

    If the State of Georgia removes BHO's name from the ballot, there will probably be many more that will follow suit. At that point the Democrats will insist that the SCOTUS get involved, something they have been battling against for the past three plus years. It will then require the nine supremes to actually come out and define "natural born citizen" as used in the COTUS, something they have steadfastly avoided for whatever reason.
