it's coming. America's time became limited when he tool office. Obama is own and commanded by powerful, evil people. His sole purpose is the end America so the NWO ran by the anti-christ can seize control world wide.

If this sham is "elected" again, the decline will be rapid.

For this monstrosity to come out in a highly regarded site like Forbes, brings the frightening reality to the forefront. Alarmingly, this news isn't plastered all over the major networks and voters may not realize what's in store for them.

The article has a very misleading title but the history of executive orders issued by past and current presidents is a fascinating read. However, short of a very serious and immediate threat to this nation (Total collapse of the economy, meteor strike, WWIII), I seriously doubt that Obama, as much as he may wish he could, would have the political gonads to attempt an implementation of executive order 13603-- which has been around for a while BTW.

The part about Progressive moralist Teddy Roosevelt's views on power was most enlightening. I would argue that it was he who opened the door and got the modern progressive ball rolling and that his actions are the primary cause for this country being in such turmoil today.

LOL that's a pretty big pile of bullsh*t. The Executive Order they're talking about is similar to one passed by previous Presidents. It's designed to provide for the continuation of civilian government in the event of a massive national disaster. It's called "preparation". The Bush Administration demonstrated in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina how dangerous it is to be completely unprepared and unequipped to deal with a major disaster. Thank God we have a President who actually cares about the needs of the American people.

I remember when Forbes was a reliable news source. This article is just a conglomeration of empty right wing talking points - including "government takeover of health care " (2009's politifact "Lie of the Year"), "runaway spending" (even though spending under President Obama is proceeding at a lower rate than any of his recent predecessors), "racking up $5 trillion in debt" (even though the President has only added about $1.6 trillion to our debt, while the Bush tax cuts for millionaires ALONE have added more) and all the usual bullsh*t.

ironic that most (like in this case) dont read the article. they dont like the title so they pitch a fit throwing un based blather at everyone.
Makes it easy to see and point out the ones guilty of this tho..

one differnce.. it is not simply for use in emergency or time of war..
obama has legislated that it can be used in "peacetime" what is the point of gathering and controlling all resources in a time of peace?? THAT has not been done by our previous presidents And never done with out explination or justification!
