How Much Of Obama's Stimulus Did You Get?

I think I got screwed over by having even MORE DEBT piled on me! Both directly and indirectly. Now the US Government owns General Motors (I loved Chevrolets), Tore up my roads through the "Stimulus plan", and eroded the Constitution of the United States to near fatal extremes. Not much of that Document left, is there?

I don't know the exact amount, but like most all Americans I got a significant tax cut.

Are you REALLY so ignorant as to NOT know that roughly 40% of the stimulus went into tax cuts (insisted on by Republicans to get their votes), and that indeed taxes were cut for almost all Americans? If you ARE that ignorant, you ought to study up on facts, assuming you think facts are a good thing.

I was fortunate enough to retire before the a'hole was elected and locked down my Social Security payments that I had contributed into for the 35 years that I had paid into that Ponzi scheme. So the stimulus money went into paying off the unions and whoever was a Democrat contributor, and now those benefits have run out and need to be renewed. So far, I have received my Social Security payments, and maybe I will get back all that money I paid into the Ponzi fund (I know that my late father-in-law sure did and he laughed at me while he thanked me for all my help!).

Being a retired and disabled vet all I got was a tax increase and a decrease in my disability pay!!!!

The stimulis from what I understand paid for the payroll tax cut, there might be other tax cuts also. Of course being retired that didn't do much for me.

Not that I expected anything.

The whole Keynesian premise of "stimulus" is that government thugs are somehow wise enough, objective enough, knowledgeable enough, and honest enough to make better spending decisions than are the people who'd earned the money the politicians are spending (allegedly on their behalf).

Anybody who believes this is invited to consult me privately regarding a real estate investment on New York City's picturesque East River, an architectural classic that stands out against the skyline and figures prominently in the Big Apple's history, literature and culture.

Cash only, of course, and in small, used bills.

To be accurate, my share of the stimulus money can be counted in negative numbers - I'll be paying for Obama's slush funds and failed experiment in Keynsian economics until (and after) I die.

The real winners were Obama's big wealthy liberal progressive media and labor financial supporters.

Assuming you count the extended BUSH tax cuts as part of the stimulus I got about 13K out of the deal all of which did end up invested in fine German automotive engineering....

As did almost everyone else.

The money all went to unions and big green democrat donors.
