When they change the system so that the greater of two evils wont get elected if you don't vote for the lesser.

Too bad for the Republicans/conservatives/tea pardiers...

They're always voting for the lesser of two evils, only because they never have a candidate good enough to run for office in the first place.

It's just become a rich man's contest now for the past 20 years. I believe Romney is by far the better choice with out a doubt!

It seems it will be too late by the time people wake up and realize what has happened.

We will vote for the lesser of two evils until both parties begin to put up better candidates. If you give me crap to vote for, you'll get crap in office. It's that simple.

A best reason for runoff voting, getting rid of the Dem-Rep monopoly

We can't get REAL, QUALIFIED leaders that would lower themselves and their family to go up against the establisment oligarchs; Reagan was the last one, JFK before him. We know what they did to JFK and tried to do to Reagan. oligarchy new worldorder

The electorate has been so dumbed down, it will take a total collapse of the economy. It requires critical thinking skills to make an educated decision, most Americans are mouth breathers that do whatever their TV tells them.

Too many are Constitutionally illiterate; what can you say for an American that has no form of identification to show at the polls??? Too many get that government check and vote for their security over freedom. That was/is the plan of the progressive to get a majority of us dependant on government, on that plantation where we vote for them instead of sharecropping. The 49% that pay no taxes should not be allowed to vote.

The 51% should join the 49% and not be paying personal income tax. Voting for the lesser of two evils still keeps you down on that plantation, just a different master.

We have always had those "pulling the wagon" and those "riding in the wagon"; I guess we always will.

You are so right...on all points! I know it's a cliche by now, but it's almost as if you can elicit a Pavlovian response (either adoration or hatred) in most people just by throwing around the right buzz words, labels, and iconography. The Powers That Be know that, deep down, humans are still very emotionally involved in tribal identities (anyone who thinks this is wrong is more than welcome to stroll into a bad neighborhood and/or sports stadium wearing the "wrong" colors), and they know just how to exploit those impulses. So, instead of getting policy analysis from the people who are supposed to inform us, we get "Two Minutes Hate", with plenty of Immanuel Goldsteins, both real and invented, to jeer at.

Sadly, I think you're right. With the exception of the occasional anti-establishment ripple on the surface, I don't see much sign of things changing anytime soon.
