What do you believe is reasonable? We are talking TAXABLE INCOME here, after all deductions have been claimed.

Under $200,000, so they keep over $800,000

15%, but I think that ALL Americans should be taxed at the same rate.

We should all receive equal treatment under the law.

No less than someone in the middle class has to pay..(percentage wise).

None, because the income tax is unjust, it undermines the work ethic, and the 16th Amendment was never ratified.

This is roughly the rate that people pay who earn below 250k/year. Maybe a little less - closer to 22-25%. But it's kind of a bad question to ask anyway, since someone making over $1M a year isn't getting this money from a paycheck, but from investment dividends, so they're paying the capital gains rate of 11-15%, depending on the # of loopholes they can use. The capital gains rate should be at least 25%.

I'm shooting a little low but I personally think this is a fair amount.

It really depends upon the persons deductions but I think 30 to 40% is not unreasonable.

The same percentage as the bottom 47%, why should productivity be punished with higher taxes?

$100,000. A ten percent tax on all taxable income, with no deductions. I believe a flat tax rate along with a serious cut in government waste would solve a great many of our problems. That and congressional term limits.

So where would you make the cuts? I would favor cutting the military industrial complex by 50%, end the war on drugs, while increasing spending on infrastructure. Would your tax rate apply to dividends and interest? Generally the flat tax proposals do not apply to dividends, interest and capital gains.

It should apply to all income.

He should pay the same tax rate as everyone else. There is no fixed dollar amount.
