I think they've proven there is very minimal voter fraud anywhere in the U.S. I believe its all about voter suppression.

From what I can see about zero states have significant voter fraud.

Hardly any of them, it's just something the GOP has come up with to eliminate some of the minorities from voting. They are really running scared now, so afraid they are going to lose the election so they are stooping to this nonsense.

But in how many is it more then 1 or 2 cases which really weren't fraud but just voter error. Fraud to me would be someone intentionally impersonating someone for political gain or financial gain to vote more then once. I'm not sure you can find a single case of that in the last 20 years.

Voter fraud is very difficult to prosecute, it's almost an invisible crime and hard to detect/prove. That's why most cases go unresolved, but we know it happens in every state. Check it out for yourself.

Checked your link for California could find nothing about voter fraud. Now are there voter errors like people registering in the wrong district, or registering because they think they should when in fact they shouldn't, I didn't see anything about that either, but I'm sure it happens in a few cases. I don't consider an error a crime and I don't worry much about the few errors that happen with millions voting they probably cancel out anyway. On the other hand we do seem to have county clerks who are either totally incompetent to count the vote or do so fraudulently. That probably balances out too.

The problem with calling voter error fraud is that if someone just intends to be a good American and goofs up then there is no intent. To me for fraud to exist someone would have to be doing something for gain of some sort. The Nevada example that is often brought up wasn't really voter fraud. It appears no one voted. It was fraud against Acorn to get paid more. I.E. some employees filled out false registration forms since they were being paid by the form to cheat Acorn.

Ok, I see there have been charges. I note that 2 of the lead items are dead people registered to vote. That's kind of meaningless as when someone dies in most states they will be registered for 4 more years. It would only mater if they actually voted. I'd say the same thing about incarcerated felons. I did notice that 152 Alameda county dead people voted. It would be interesting to know more about that. For instance did they vote absentee while in the hospital and then die before election day? I don't know where you'd put that. Couldn't call it fraud or error. For that mater should such a vote count? What about the votes of someone who dies on election day after voting. That has to happen once in a while.

It is almost nonexistant.
However, republicans and their recent voter suppression laws are committing 'legal' voter fraud.

Too bad for all those elderly people who have been voting for 70 plus years who now have to take a taxi around town getting the right documentation together for a voter ID. All of which costs money.

A new nationwide analysis of more than 2,000 cases of alleged election fraud over the past dozen years shows that in-person voter impersonation on Election Day, which has prompted 37 state legislatures to enact or consider tougher voter ID laws, was virtually non-existent.

The analysis of 2,068 reported fraud cases by News21, a Carnegie-Knight investigative reporting project, found 10 cases of alleged in-person voter impersonation since 2000. With 146 million registered voters in the United States, those represent about one for every 15 million prospective voters.
