When I first saw Holmes' photo on the media, I immediately recognized the face but
didn't make the connection to where I had seen him. I now recall that he posted his face as his I.D. here on SH and made some argumentative comments about guns and
homosexuality, as I recall. I'm searching just now to find these. Have you seen his photos?

Let me make this clear, i did NOT see James Holmes picture in any posted comment here. i simply clicked on the wrong choice and naturally it was too late to change it.

Understood--but that might be a tad overkill. This social networking thing only works if you network. Each friend constitutes another node on your personal network.

That said, it'd be a REALLY good idea to review your friends list from time to time. Obviously, you wouldn't want. . .ahem. . . 'newsmakers' to be in your bevy of contacts. Not unless you want regular visits from the press/police at 3 in the morning. :-)

Exactly. I recall an exchange of several comments with him, but can't locate them now. Maybe when the FBI is finished reviewing his computer files they will call to
ask why I entertained his nonsense and only told him he was nuts twice.

Not at all. Hunting remains a big activity in Colorado, with lots of open range, ranches, etc., and a population of coyotes, foxes, rattlesnakes and bears.... and, remember Colorado has a "medical marijuana" law which invites every sort of pothead and dealer, grower, gang, and thief. No, it has an active gun culture.

Century theaters have a policy of no guns. Until this event, all was well. Nutcase probably didn't know about that policy else he might not have prepared himself so well to take return fire.
