Please name the laws that Democrats have legislated that have taken guns. The Brady bill was presented by the Reagan administration just in case you were thinking of that one. But I guess it's your logic the way to combat gun restriction laws is to go on killing sprees. That's conservative logic indeed.

Lee Harvey Oswald bought a mail-order gun in 1963, which he allegedly used to shoot JFK.

Ironically, the purchase was DESIGNED to be traced. The guy lived in Texas, where he could have bought a rifle over the counter at any one of hundreds of guns stores -- no questions asked. So instead, he uses mail order. I guess he wanted to make it easy for FBI investigators to close the case.

Silly person, Texas didn't sell guns that shot magic bullets so he had to get the correct gun through mail order. At the time Texas didn't sell guns that shot bullets that could go through two people and make a right turn in mid air.

Not sure if that's sarcasm or not but in case it's not - it's been amply demonstrated that the bullet did no such thing. It appeared to because the initial investigators did not take into account the ways in which Kennedy and Connally were seated.

Before 1968 such things were so rare ,that they were topics of conversation for decades to follow.
After the progressives convinced all the snivelers that they are victims , every snit and whimper is convinced that something is owned to them . These crimes are never committed by someone that believes each should be responsible for themselves.

These types of incidents are carried out by very disturbed people. The situations are ALWAYS worse because conservatives believe that gun rights mean the government has no rights over your gun ownership privileges. Do you really need a gun that hold more than six rounds? Do you need access to assault weapons?

If two people break into my house, yes, we need a gun that holds more than six rounds.

Since when does the government get decide how MUCH of a RIGHT someone needs?

The government tells you how much of a right you have all of the time. They tell you what you need to have the right to vote. They tell you that you need a license so you have the RIGHT to carry a gun. They tell you who you have the right to marry and how old you have to be to marry.

All you need to vote is a certain age, and citizenship. That's always been true.

And yes, you "need" a license, but in most states, they HAVE to issue it unless there's a compelling reason not to.

The fact that the govt. impinges on your right to marry doesn't make it right. The govt. should be out of the marriage business.

And you can marry at much younger than "govt" ages with parental permission in most states.

Had more people been on the scene with guns , he could have been stopped sooner.

Heard on the radio a while ago that the theater had a "no guns" sign out front. Don't know if it's confirmed - it came in an interview with the guy from GOA.
