Update on deadly shooting in Montgomery, Al...

We have some new information on a deadly weekend shooting in
Montgomery. Police say the victim was shot when he and two other teens
tried to rob a home on Glade Park Drive. Police say the homeowner shot
and killed Deandre Robertson. The two other teens he was with are now
charged with his murder.

First the 20 yr old that was shot and killed in the attempted robbery is NOT a victim..he is a perpetrator!!! The homeowner is the victim PERIOD!!!!! And see you hear nothing about when a person uses a gun for self defense....F#cking Liberal Media Bias!!!!

Very good question KR, Robert Krentz was an unarmed rancher working his ranch in AZ. Several heavy armed drug runners were traveling across his property and because he saw them they murdered him. My question to the liberals is, if he were armed how many shots would you allow him? Myself, I'd allowed him a belt fed weapon but that's me.

If you choose to "spray and pray" with that long gun you intend to carry 24/7 that's up to you.
For me, my best choice for a defencive weapon is the one I have instantly accessible in an emergency.

So your home defense gun is a tiny little handgun?

You do understand that there was once an incident of a cop that shot a guy and actually hit him 24 times in the chest, abdomen, and neck, that was stabbed to death by that guy?

Handguns are EXTREMELY low in power. There's no "praying" when I spray my gun - almost all of the shots will hit my intended target whenever I shoot rapid fire.

I think the founders had the right Idea. Militias are called up from a large pool of armed citizens who are familiar with firearms. Overly restricting gun ownership would change the nature of this country for the worse and make us more vulnerable to invasion (remember what Yamamoto said) and vulnerable to home-grown tyranny.
I do believe that carry or concealed carry permits should require a criminal and psychiatric background investigation and a stringent training course. I do not believe in registering ordinary guns or gun owners as it makes confiscation too easy for any tyrant.

I agree with everything you said. The only question I have is with the last part, because if the guns are sold for the second time then the registration and checks get a little too loose and the gun is lost track of. Thank you for your honesty on a difficult issue this country is facing.
