We've all seen a lot of polls and questions about the Obama Presidency, but how do you feel about your Congress?

Do you think they're doing a good job right now, or are you angry with their recent performance?

I approve of the Republicans, but I think the Democrats are doing a poor job.

WELL LETS ASK THIS OF OURSELVES....ARE WE BETTER OFF TODAY THAN WE WERE 2 YEARS AGO?

3 YEARS AGO ('06) WE ELECTED A DEMOCRATIC CONTROLLED CONGRESS AND BUSH BECAME A LAME DUCK PRESIDENT. AT THIS TIME UNEMPLOYMENT WAS 4.5%, HOME VALUES WERE RISING, THE DOW WAS HITTING NEW HIGHS AND CONSUMERS CONFIDENCE WAS STRONG.

JUST 2 YEARS INTO THE DEMOCRATICALLY CONTROLLED CONGRESS, UNEMPLOYMENT ROSE TO 6.5%, HOME VALUES FELL BY 30%, THE DOW LOST 40% AND CONSUMER CONFIDENCE PLUMMETED.

NOW 6 MONTHS INTO OBAMA AND HIS SUPER MAJORITY WE HAVE SPENT MORE THAN ALL PREVIOUS PRESIDENTS COMBINE, UNEMPLOYMENT HAS JUMPED TO 9.5% AND EXPECTED TO GO AS HIGH AS 14%, 8% OF HOMES ARE IN FORECLOSURE AND THE NATIONAL DEBT FOR THE 1ST TIME IN HISTORY IS OVER 1 TRILLION DOLLARS. ALSO NOTE 2 OF THE 3 BIG AUTOMAKERS ARE OUT OF BIZ.

VOTE THESE BUMS OUT.....LETS MAKE THEM UNEMPLOYED.

TAKE BACK AMERICA IN 2010 AND GET READY FOR 2012!!!

I have never had less faith in our Representatives and Senators than I have now. Is there NOTHING we can do to stop the madness that is filtering through the Legistlative and Executive Branches of our Congress? Our current Congress men and women make me want to PUKE!

The Dem's are doing a terrible job of running this country. It is a scary time of my life again, the only other time I had to worry was when I was in high school knowing that I will be drafted into the military when I graduated. Viet Nam was a conflict that the gov told us about, except if you were at draft age it was a war. I ended doing 2 years in the Army as a US, not a RA. Left with an Honorable discharge and proud to be an American. The number system came later and then a all volunteer service in the early 70's. The times today are like that for our young people with a dim future the way this country is heading. Be thankful that we have people willing to fight for our freedom. I believe that most Liberals would rather be led to the slaughter rather than fight for our freedom. What we as a country stand for is our rights of the constitution, not socialism and we are a Christan nation that believe in GOD.

DFL or GOP, they're both playing between the 40 yard lines. We need term limits for them and the judicial branch. No more career politicians. No more finding refuge in public service. It is a cop out. They've established enough safety nets...if they can't hack it out there in the real world, they can get on food stamps and energy assistance.

Our congressional members place affliations over the will of the people from both parties and I think that they should be shown the door. We need elected officials who are aware that they are elected everyday that they are there instead of only remembering it when its convenient.

Imagine if elected officials conducted their each day on the job... as if they could be fired at the end of the day; you know ...like us... here in the real world.
Instead they gorge at the public trough or on the lobbyists dime ...and only take a weak swing at accountability to the electorate during the run up to their re-election.

I bought 100 postcards from the USPO; $27.00 plus a couple of extra $$. Then everyday I send several to the Senators or Representatives a postcard with the following message.

NOTICE

TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT

We The People

Are hereby serving you notice

That due to your failure to protect the American People and to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America are Fired!

I also include the date of their next election: example, Charles Schumer of NY, November 2, 2010

I also include the piece of legislation, resolution, amendment or nomination action that I agree or disagree with.

Congress, as a whole, is running this country into the ground. They are not experts in any field that they are involved and they are profiting from deals they make with lobbiests and each other.

Vote them all out of office and put in a brand new herd of animals. Animals that don't know how to rip the American people off yet. Then when that new herd learns how to rip us off, vote them out of office and so on and so forth.

2006 is when the knuckle heads took the majority and let's think about what happened after that, I think that speaks for it's self. If you want to destroy a nation just vote for a dumbocrat. nobama, biden, gore, pelosi, reid, frank, murtha, weinstein, jefferson, boxer, clinton, 32 czars that's so nobama and the rest will have more time to waste your tax dollars, and now sotomayor to also steal your freedom. It's no wonder they always change thier names, liberal, progressive, democrat, etc. Good luck america you need it

I am disgusted with most of them. Anyone that would sign bills and not read them are a disgrace to this country. Any congress who has allowed such a huge deficit is also a disgrace. They need to be voted out for their behavior.

Democrats are up to their usual ways. Spending like crazy and the taxes are coming next. The Republicans are out numbered, but they need to fight harder! They need to stop this Cap & Trade Bill! I hope the majority of them are voted out !

I see what you mean: you would have preferred a letter grade or a scale from 1-10 or something?

But however you rate them, don't you think Congress should actually read the laws they're making for the rest of us?
