I am very glad to see you running in '08. I am behind you 100%. I also agree with you on everything but your out look on gay marriage. History really does have a way of repeating itself. I was born with the right to get married, the day I came out of the closet was the day that they were taken away from me. Religion is supposed to be seperate from the state, yet everyone wants to hide behind the bible when they feel uncomfortable about something that they do not understand. Yet they want to take the word God out of the pledge of aligance, off of our money, and when you hear about the 10 commandments being placed on the court house steps, what is that you hear next... I guess being gay is really my only sin.I mean I still curse, and lose my patience at times with those that are close to me but I treat everyone with respect, I'm Catholic, I go to church.I carry no hate in my heart, even for those who hate me. I respect the opinions of those who fear and hate me just because they do not understand my life. That is why I share my life with others and am grateful that through education I have changed a few people's out look on what it is like to be gay. Educate the ignorance, don't continue to fuel it, and let it burn on forever. We are people too. Please think about that. Thank you.
