How do you jailbreak an iPod touch?

i want to jailbrak my ipod but i dont know how to so can you please help me by leaving your wonderful helpful comments thanx :]

well it depends on what firmware and device you have what generation is your ipod touch?

For ipod touch 1g,2g you can jailbreak with redsn0w or blackra1n, but for ipod touch 3g you must jailbreak with blackra1n and it is only TETHERED which means if you shut it off restart it or it runs out of batterys you need to reconnect it to the computer and rejailbreak it for now chronic -dev is working on an untethered ipt3g jailbreak
