How do the people who scream "Keep your laws off our bodies!" and "Stay out of our bedrooms!" insist that the government give them free contraception without being hypocritical?

Because it has a lot more medical uses than just birth control. It's used for period pain.

Should it be free? No, but medical insurance should cover part of the cost. It's covers viagra, so an eye for an eye.

My own opinion. Don't like it, don't talk to me. I wasn't stating it as if it was a fact.

My mother works at a hospital, and she hears female doctors complain about it all the time. It's not actual numbers, but it's what she hears.

but it does... and male pattern baldness, why should it? damned if I know..but thats not the point...it IS covered by MOST Insurance programs AND its NOT being Challenged..
Its mostly a vanity drug for men who want to have sex when they cant get hard or to keep it hard, they aint drawing purty pictures with it are they, its sexual "need", Why are vanity drugs covered but not birth control?Especially when more hard-ons means more sex, and more unplanned pregnancies.

They aren't screaming for free contraception. They are asking that there be rule that ensures employers offer said coverage. Coverage that they receive as part of their pay packages in most cases or pay for through the institution they are affiliated with.

It's part of their compensation package, and the employee also pays for it. This is how our private-public system works. Why should the employer pay for viagra?

So why not just go to the drug store and buy it yourself? Oh, sorry, you want others to pay for it through increased premiums.

first of we're not talking about condoms. Secondly, your premiums will definitely rise if its not covered as the consequences of no coverage in this regard are more expensive.

because the debate is not about condoms, and if that's what you think is being debated then you are sorely misinformed.
