The same argument was used during the Vietnam "war", which was MY generation's war! Probably because life just ain't fair. Ain't likely to GET that way, either. Sorry.
To be serious:
1) 18 year olds brains are not fully cooked, you still learn and you will listen to authority when you go into the service, you may die, but your fighting an enemy that is trying to kill you and take your country and your freedom away from you.
2) When you drink you Learn Nothing, You Don't Listen, You May Die, but you are not fighting an enemy that is trying to kill you and take away your freedom and your country, When you do crash your car into someone you might just decapitate someones 6 year old kid, or kill a entire family and so on, they give you until you are 21 so hopefully your brain will cook some more and you won't do those things, maybe you will have a little more resposibilty by 21 than 18, have a kid of your own maybe, think about it.
