He has to drop out of the race and give it to RP.

He cannot satisfy those of us who are libertarians, nor those of us who are Ron Paul supporters; and I suspect he doesn't match the qualities most moderate republicans want in a presidential candidate, either.

This Nation NEEDS to have Ron Paul in the driver's seat. Not the backseat!

I hope he will not be a phony and pretend to be what he is not. That will impress me.

You need to understand that MODERATES are Democrats by another name. The Libertarians are Democrats too, but don't want to claim the name.....

You are absolutely wrong about that! Libertarians find just as much to detest about the Democrats' policies as we do the Republicans' policies.

The political spectrum is not limited to a single line with Democrats at one end and Republicans at the other, Libertarians do not fit on that false scale, anywhere at all. Please see the Nolan Chart http://www.nolanchart.com//su... and take the ten question quiz, you might be surprised where you fall on that chart. Personally, I am at the very peak of libertarian.

Wow. You are in desperate need of education regarding Libertarians. Libertarians, by far, support the US Constitution more than either Democrats OR Republicans.

At this point, the only difference between the Dems and Reps is their rhetoric anyway. I am proud to step away from the partisan insanity and think for myself and the betterment of this country. I am sure most Libertarians share this sentiment.

He could invite all six of them to his house for dinner and impress them with his Auto Elevator, maybe let them ride it up and down a couple of times, treat them to a nice
meal prepared by either the "French chef" or the "Italian Pasta chef", then send them home in one of Bain Capital's private jets - the Gulfstream 550 is most impressive. If that
doesn't work, would he really care? They are not people who "count".

Well, the choice is obvious. He has to pick Ron Paul to be his Running Mate.

Give us back our first and fourth amendment by renouncing his support of the Patriot Act and NDAA. Then tell us how he is going to take control of the EPA and make them only enforce the laws of the land and stop making their own regulation. Also that he will make E-verify the law of the land and set a time limit for businesses to comply. Also remove the influence that the UN was given to them by prior Presidents and reduce our funding of this organization. Eliminate chance for the UN to levy a carbon tax on America. The list could go on and on of things that need to be done.

"How can Romney satisfy those in the GOP who classify themselves as Moderates or Libertarians?"

He could do it with his choice of Veep. My suggestion is for him to choose the guy that supports the FairTax and the Chilean Social Security paradigm as models for reform. Romney's choice could also win over a significant portion of an entire demographic by choosing

    Herman Cain

Simply put, he can't!! He has demonstrated his willingness to change his mind on nearly everything, and cannot be trusted to reign in government any more than Obama.

State his positions as clearly and precisely so people know where he stands . America has had enough Chameleons pandering to the audience. Take a stand and stick to it.

Obama has been a Teleprompter full of platitudes scripted by the last poll and whoring to fringe groups to try to garner votes . America is sick of seeking demographic votes. Enough all ready .

Quite simply...he can't. To conservatives, moderates, libertarians, and even liberals, it is painfully obvious this man is no less a shyster than the current Fraud-In-Chief(and has virtually the same financial backers as Obama to prove it).

He can't and tapping Ron Paul as vp wouldn't change that. This is a guy that has consistently taken positions that directly conflict with the Constitutional limitations set upon govt., both as governor and as a GOP candidate.

Ron Paul has consistently sided with the Constitution. The two are worlds apart. That's not something that slick rhetoric will undo. Not to mention the guy is a spineless, habitual liar. Libertarians aren't* simply "Ron Paul supporters." Libertarianism is all about Individual liberty, non-interventionism, the absence of unnecessary use of force.

All of which are completely foreign concepts to Romney and the GOP for that matter. lol

He can't. The only reason he's getting my vote is because I don't think this country can afford another four years of Obama. Romney is a mediocre candidate at best, and worse case scenario he'll be just as big a failure as Obama. It's a shame we were given another election with two piss poor candidates.

romney flip flops on every issue. no one knows where he stands on any issue. when he figures out what he supports he will be able to get voters to back him. obama has flip flopped on nothing. he has continued to push for higher taxes, higher spending, wealth re-distribution, obamacare. we knoe what obama wants and so do the voters. regardless of if you support obama you know what you get.

quite frankly there is nothing he can do.
Liars, hypocarites, and money orriented puppets arnt worth the risk to the US in my opinion. (which doesnt leave many -if any politicians)
Romney and Obama are Both for NAFTA, More Deficit Spending, Corporatism, Bail Outs, War, IRS, IMF, and more Foreign aid.
all of which are draining our pockets and country of money we dont have, creating more unecessary enemies, and Killing our liberties and Freedom!

What can a candidate do to redeem himself or prove he has changed for the better?
Its not within the realm of possibilities, but if he attacked Obama as a traitor, attacked him and the senate over the NDAA, criticized all recent wars as imperialistic, called global warming out as a UN fraud, attacked the Federal Reserve, IRS, bilderberg, trilateral commission and CFR, and so on.

But none of the above will ever happen, and even if he said any of the above, what garentee do we have that he'll stick to those positions? The man's record of flip-flops includes flipping and flopping in less than a minute.
