How can anyone shoot and kill 20 little children between 5-10 years old?

So unfortunate that evil does exist. It is possible that some people's evil tendencies could be curbed with proper medication and guidance. However, there are some that just cannot be stopped.

Indeed, evil visited again. As a society, we really need a return to God. As a culture, we instill in our children a value system that is flexible and relative. It is not the value system of God. We need to understand that evil is not merely the opposite of good - but the absence of it. Just as dark is the absence of light. We need a return to the Light to curb evil. He did not turn from us, we ran from Him.

to all the people talking about "oh well he was just mentally disabled", there are millions of people, MILLIONS with abnormal mental functions, from emotional to learning to functional to socializing to a combination, who never hurt anyone in their lives. Other wise sane or rational people commit murder all the time. Evil is evil is evil and it has nothing to do with disability.

Evil is Evil and some people have it and they are insane with no heart.
Don't make excuse for them. The Devil is evil and he is the evil devil. No one with a heart would do that evil act to babies...Sending prayers to all the families. My heart is so heavy and so sad.....

I think that there is way more to this kids life than we'll ever know. So many things just don't add up here... He was a time bomb and somebody knew it.I pray for the victims families and for his family.

YES EVIL is so real. It is so very sad how my heart crys out for these sweet babies that were murdered and the adults !! But they are all up in heaven with the Lord! I pray for the parents of these precious little children, may the Lord give them the comfort they need.

I believe that malicious intent to harm or kill others is evil. On such a large scale as what has happened recently, and times in the past, the evil gets more attention. It sickens those who care about suffering and seemingly pointless death, every time.

He was born without a conscience, so this inevitably would have happened. I agree it is a tragedy, but the shooter should have been helped for his mental problems.

Evil is not the opposite of good - but absence of it. We can agree he was born without a conscience. The conscience distinguishes between right and wrong. That is GOOD. Absence of a functioning conscience is EVIL.

One of the techer's hid all her kid's and when he can to her room she told him her kid's was in the gum.He then shot her killing her,But she saved her kid's..True hero.

I don't know what's wrong with these people!! I would like to know why a Mother, living in a nice community felt the need to own 6 weapons!! I believe his mother was a little off as well. If we could answer those questions maybe it would shed light on the rest of what went down.

It's very easy.
All you need is a gun rights amendment in your constitution that gives any citizen the right to bear arms. Even the crazy citizens.

As disgusting it is for me to say something about politics at a time like this, I have to devote at least one of my two cents to that, or it'd be wasted money.

I honestly can't tell the difference between the madman who slaughtered those kids, and the nutcases who insist on using the plight of those families to say "LIBERALS ARE STUPID!" when they should be offering help instead. I don't care if you think liberals or conservatives are stupid, but please remember - saying that will do NOTHING to help the victims get over the pain, if you're even human enough to care about them at all.

They can do it because they spent years watching violent video games and its seems normal . Adam lanzo's mother destroyed his access to video game by destroying his computers so he went on a rampage .

Is that fact or speculation? Hadn't heard she destroyed his computer. BTW, video games are not the problem, it runs deeper than that.

They were targets, not children, to a gamer psycho that had become so desensitized by violent video games that he had no sense of the magnitude of the evil.

Some people have got their own issues but why would the shooter want to take it out on kids? for christ sake humanity encourages life and development. So to see and hear something like this is just cruel.

What the difference between him and the world dictators who butcher there own people ??
