Thank God for true patriots! I received the following letter from a very dear friend and patriot and subsequently received permission from him to print this in its entirety.
In the letter to those named, he explains to "them" (as though they did not know this already), just how far down the "readiness" ladder we have fallen due to the syncopates, cronyism, incompetence, and lack of attention to their oaths of office we have actually fallen.
Every American should understand just how important this issue is, especially those who have ever served in the military. If we cannot rely on our armed forces receiving the right information, and are willing to succumb to the terrorists objections of exposing the truth to our troops about them, what can we expect but the very worst to actually take place from them on our own soil?
Please read and comment as you see fit; but more importantly, please take this letter and share it with your friends, neighbors and anyone you know who is in the military. We cannot expect any good outcome when we have people in the highest offices the land in bed with the enemy! Thank you, and a huge thank you to the gentleman who wrote this letter.

• “He is clearly the best of our new
instructors...already cited by his students as an
outstanding instructor...A must select for battalion
command...Dooley
possesses unlimited potential to serve in positions of
much higher authority.”
• “Unquestionably among the most dedicated and hard
working officers I have ever known...He can
always be counted on to deliver top-north results.
Select immediately for battalion/squadron command.
Unsurpassed potential for future promotion and
service."
• “Absolutely spectacular officer..He has
the highest work ethic of any officer in this
command.”
These were the military’s very own descriptions of Lt. Col. Dooley,
until a complaint by Muslims that he was teaching a
course called “Perspectives on Islam and Islamic
Radicalism” at the National Defense University was
raised. You then publicly excoriated Lt. Col. Dooley
at a public news conference, saying Dooley’s teaching
was “totally objectionable” and “against our values.”
Dooley was ordered fired from his instructor’s
position and given a negative Officer Evaluation
Report, effectively destroying Lt. Col. Dooley's
military career.
Lt. Col. Dooley has served most honorably and with
distinction through a numerous, complex operating
environments. Lt. Col. Dooley’s raters and senior
raters ALL considered him an outstanding officer and
advocated his rapid promotion and advancement to the
highest levels of responsibility. Yet you attacked
Dooley because of Muslim complaints about references
to Islam in his training courses. You in fact ordered
“all material offensive to Islam” completely scrubbed
from all military training material. Whose side are
you on? The enemy's? Your own sacred career of
fawning to the President instead of protecting the
nation as Lt.
Col. Dooley tried to do? How can we contain or
defeat an enemy you won't allow the military to even
define? Can you picture PM Churchill ordering the
British military to "scrub all references to
Hitler?"
I don't know whether you are a Kool-Aid drinking
liberal, or just a sycophant to HRH Obama, but the
military, indeed the entire DHS, is kowtowing to our
Islamic enemies and making us look weak. Far from
being thankful for the hundreds of millions of
dollars we send them every year to fight their
battles against secular strongmen, they are using
the financial and other resources we are providing
them to attack our own embassies and commit random
acts of terror against us. We routinely allow
persons from high risk countries to obtain visas to
enter the US with virtually no scrutiny, where they
not only fund and recruit for foreign terror cells,
but successfully use political pressure to brainwash
the Administration and Congress into "sanitizing"
our domestic and military enforcement training
materials to the point that they have no value in
limiting the Islamic threat.
I
don't think you even the slightest idea of
how serious this threat really is. With our help,
Iran is accumulating allies at an astonishing rate
in North Africa, the Horn of Africa, and the Middle
East. It won't be long before Iran, via its allied
proxies, will be able to blockade all Gulf oil, as
well as all Mediterranean Sea trade. World oil
prices will sky rocket, and the European economy,
already shaky, will suffer an economic catastrophe
if Mediterranean
Sea gates are closed to shipping. Central
Europe could wage a summary attack on radical
Islamic states, which are approaching one
billion people as Iran accumulates allies,
again, with US assistance.
In simple terms, by helping the Muslim Brotherhood take
down secular strongmen, we could easily precipitate a
military response from Central Europe that could lead to
a third world war.
Going back to Lt.
Col. Dooley, he was clearly an outstanding
officer and had a brilliant career ahead of him. He loyally served
every one of his commanders. and was highly respected
by the men under his command. His superiors at
the Joint Forces Staff College considered him an
outstanding instructor. But that's not good
enough for you - after all he has done for his country and
the Army, you simply threw him under the bus of "political
correctness."

has served the U.S. in Bosnia, Kuwait, and Iraq in
dozens of positions, including tank platoon leader,
tank company executive officer, tank company
commander, and headquarters company commander. Both
you and the quislings under your command have violated our
nation’s principles of free speech and academic
freedom guaranteed by our Constitution, a number of
the military’s own regulations dealing with academic
freedom, and the non-attribution policies of the
National Defense University (NDU).
You and your cohorts have violated Lt. Col. Dooley's
right to due
process of law and even bypassed the NDU's provost,
who under the NDU’s rules has primary responsibility
for adjudication of these matters. You even had the
unmitigated gall to prohibit Lt. Col. Dooley from publicly defending
himself. According to Claire Lopez, a former CIA agent
and strategic policy and intelligence expert, “The final bastion
of America’s defense against Islamic jihad and
Shariah, the Pentagon, fell to the enemy.” SHE"S
RIGHT.
Lt. Col. Dooley
was grappling in class with the most dangerous aspects
of radical Islamist ideology and encouraged students
to debate the issues openly, using approved course
content, established guest speakers, and doctrinally
established teaching methodologies. But a letter from
Islamic groups, including some with known links to
terrorism, demanded that all government training
materials be purged of all negative references to
Islam, a mandatory retraining program be instituted
(brainwashing), and punishment be instituted for
“bigoted trainers” who use “biased training
materials.” Trainers who simply tell the truth as it
is are not "bigoted" or "biased;" they're simply
honest people who are trying to their job
competently. And if our own enemies object, WHY
SHOULD WE CARE? The objecting "groups" here included
the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the

massacre? No, it wasn't "workplace violence" as the
Administration claims; it was a clear act of planned

family is being targeted by threats, which illustrates
the consequences of prejudicial statements from
military commanders, such as yourself. Lt. Col. Dooley
has been betrayed by his chain of
command, ALL of whom refused to stand behind their
own academic freedom and the NDU's non-attribution
regulations. Lt. Col. Dooley utilized methods of
educational inquiry that were proper and acceptable to
the military at the time he was teaching. You in
effect smeared him by implementing a fiat ex post
facto ruling to suck up to your uber-progressive
bosses in the Administration.
The military talks a lot about honor. Honor,
at least by my own definition, is the combination of
courage and ethics. You sir have neither. You have
behaved disgracefully, yet you will probably benefit
politically from your atrocious behavior given the
progressive/socialist nature of the people who have
control over your advancement. You, the DHS, and in
fact the entire federal Administration have
anti-American minds, behave like spoiled brats, and
quite frankly worry me more than any foreign enemy.
