The United States Department of Homeland Security has a new marketing campaign and it is a bit out of the box. According to the Associated Press, Homeland Security has issued a "zombie warning," which is really a
funky way of telling Americans to stock up on plenty of food, water, batteries, flashlights, etc. In other words, be ready for anything--even
zombies.
Officials behind the zombie alert hope that the campaign will lead to better preparedness for more typical disasters like hurricanes and earthquakes. Apparently, the zombie approach is not that
unconventional, as the Centers of Disease Control did a similar campaign last year. The zombie campaign has gotten attention, but it has been more humorous than anything.
Any Homeland Security threat should be taken seriously but the zombie alert while unique, might be too corny for some to
listen to intently. There may or may not be real zombies out there, but like Homeland Security says, it's best to be prepared for anything.
CDC handles things related to virus-like contagions.
Oh wait........People would call that fantasy
Zombies it is then.
Also, *rolleyes" at the retards trying to make every single poll about politics, and *rolleyes* at the idiots raving it. Seriously, it's getting annoying. So many polls about politics where you can vent your hate for Obama or Romney or whoever - keep that sh*t out of the polls that have absolutely nothing to do with it. You don't see us talking about zombie apocalypses on political polls, do you? So cut that sh*t out.
Thank you.
How much tax payers' money was "wasted" on making this zombie-THEMED? What better idea do you have to get people to be ready for disasters? Scare them with pictures of disasters set to dramatic music? That doesn't work because you're AMERICANS - you're too bad-ass to be scared of disasters, right? So they made it zombie-themed because that appeals to a lot of people, and it obviously WORKS.
When a hurricane lays waste to your town, you'll be really happy your son has a disaster plan and equipment because he likes ZOMBIES.
So anyway, how exactly is making a very successful marketing campaign for disaster prevention a waste of tax money, especially when the US has been hit by countless of those in recent years?
You are so full of hate, Jared. Like, seriously. No matter what kind of twisting of topics it takes, you're hellbound on finding more opportunities to vent that hate. Regardless of what the topic is, the first thing you do is think about how to turn it into an opportunity to bash some politician or another.
Think about that.
