Homeland Security Declares Christians are Terrorists!!!!

Washington April 7th 2009 – A newly unclassified Department of Homeland Security report warns that A) Christians, B) Returning US Soldiers, C) Political supporters of candidates such as Ron Paul, and D) Supporters of States Rights, ....Are Terrorist Suspects, who have to be closely watched, and assessed as to the Level of threat they may pose to the Federal Government of the United States Of America!

( Or of the Former United States Of America, which I feel is more accurate an assessment and title! )

The report, titled "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," is the very same report from DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines right-wing extremism in the U.S. as "divided into those groups, movements and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups)

I )And as such, if Christians are determined to be “Hateful” towards Extremists, ( who use Terrorism, against Foreign and Domestic individuals, according to their spheres of influence ) ....Because we don’t like them “Blowing Everyone Up In Sight,” or “Torturing Women and Children,” ....Then we can be determined to be “Domestic Terrorists,” and placed under surveillance, or worse, by our own Federal Government, and it’s various agencies, etc.., etc.., etc..,!!!!

II) And those that are mainly anti-government, for rejecting “Alleged” Federal Authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely.

The report states the DHS will be working with state and local partners over the next several months to determine the levels of right-wing extremist activity in the U.S.

The report warned law enforcement agencies to watch for suspicious individuals who may have bumper stickers for third-party political candidates such as Ron Paul

1) It further warned law enforcement to watch out for individuals with "radical" ideologies based on Christian views, such as opposing ( illegal immigration )

2) It further warned law enforcement to watch out for individuals with "radical" ideologies based on Christian views, such as opposing (abortion )

3) It further warned law enforcement to watch out for individuals with "radical" ideologies based on Christian views, such as opposing (federal taxes )

So now I guess that Christians, who speak out against Taxes, Abortion, and Illegal Immigration, or for, States Rights, and alternative Candidates, to those currently in power, such as Ron Paul, .....Are classified as “Potential Terrorist Suspects!!!!”

Finally...WND, the sensationalist internet rag gets a new reason to post lies.

I've read through this assesment several times and have found no labeling of groups of people as terrorist suspects.

Here, you read through it and see how many lies WND has placed in print. http://www.fas.org/irp/eprint...

Ron Paul's name never appears in this document.
There is no mention of bumper stickers.
It doesn't tell LEOs what to look out for.

Rather, it focuses on the current conditions and the recruiting efforts of right wing EXTREMIST groups. Abortion foes, illegal immigration foes and Christians are not EXTREMISTS.

what does a document published in September of 2007 have to do with this poll?

Wrong. The referenced document is Dated April 7, 2009. Duh.

    Aha...they use a European date form...09-04-07.

Now that we've established that, I'm holding the document in my hand and have read it several times. Your point is....

It uses 8 people to whitewash a entire political viewpoint as an extremist security threat. Don't you find that a little disturbing?

The people it references either specifically or generally and the groups they may or may not belong to are used as past examples of such occurences, not an entire political view. You use it as such.
  • Riceman... let's v... 2009/04/15 15:49:58
No sir, I respectfully disagree. This report reads that anyone who appears to:

    1. Disgree with the current government policies.
    2. Has a strong disposition towards supporting the 2nd Amendment.
    3. Has a strong disagreement with pro choice policies

Are categorized as right wing extremists.

Your interpretation appears to neglect the fact that these individuals are not assumed to be extremists, yet may be recruited, either successfully or not, by extremists groups due to their common ideologies. This report in no way implies that people who hold any of the views you list as extremists simply because of an individual's beliefs.

Personal convictions and beliefs are quite different from belonging to a militia organization intent on overthrowing the government or a white supremacist organization who targets violence against minorities. The vast majority of Americans who hold these beliefs would not join an extremist group. This is a known factor to law enforcement everywhere, and why they look for the exceptions (radical or extremist elements) which may cause harm to the broader society.

But when you time the "public" release of an assessment of this type, just before a large number of anti-government protests are scheduled, it does make one suspicious. Theoretically, anyone attending or organizing one of these Tea Parties could be easily labeled as an extremist.
